Eh, Gorge and Disgorge are definitely magical. Gorge will even go through Fanatic's, unusually. I don't know about the rest. I could look at my logs and try to put together some answers but I doubt I'd find out anything conclusive from that considering the chance I'd have Cureskin on is mild and the damage has a fairly decent spread.

Have killed 6 of these things amber kills, gold chests barely pop and when they do the dark rings have like 2 MDT on them

Believe the amount of light they give are tied to the level they are conning as.

Can TH Increase skip a level? I've been doing the quest for NIN emote on 90THF/41RNG, and SA'ing them when I come across them. So far every time I've proced TH increase, its been for 2 levels higher than my current TH is (I don't have armlets, I'm TH3 in gear + TK). At first, I proc'ed an increase to 5 without realizing I didn't have TK equipped. When I equipped it, my procs when to 6. Now I'm not mathologist but last time I checked, 3(Trait)+1(TK)+1(Proc) = 5, so why am I getting 6 on increases?

I'm trying to figure out if I'm not accounting for something, like its probably blatantly obvious but I'm not seeing it..

So treasure hound counts as 1 full level of TH if that wasn't.. uh known.

It is used with HQ tiger hide to pop Yaguarigyu that drops RDM WHM SMN and NIN Body seals. NM uses 2 tp moves back to back everytime it uses TP moves and uses perfect dodge multiple times, The more it PDs the more its evasion goes up.

It differs on which type of ephemeral, supposedly its level and which light you're trying to get.

For example, 5 magic kills on Ephemeral Amoebans will not cap azure, while 2 on Ephemeral Murex's will.

It's a pretty straight forward fight. If you don't have a 100% reliable Stun, perhaps even if you do, always keep two people in range. Disgorge before Gorge can do ~4500 damage to two targets in range, but after Gorge it'll only do about 1000 to two targets, 2000 if you only have one person. The new Ninjutsu should place some ease on Disgorge one shot chance, I suppose. Stonega IV damage is negligible with MDT. Make sure your mage(s) is(are) on top of Erase though, Slowga is annoying. Barstone helps a lot.

I manage to duo it with nearly 100% success now with a skilled WHM/BLM (as WAR/NIN) now that we've got it down. Only time we die is if Disgorge goes off before Gorge and he's unable to Stun due to casting and whatnot.

Any secret to dark rings? I've been here like 4 hours now with nothing to show for it. Fairly sure I'm capped Amber (nothing but big boxes), but only getting keyitems and temp items. Occasional chest w/ baramnesia.

Is there a decent way to solo your own time extensions? i.e. can i get to 120 mins time saved up by myself, or would TE chests not come by often enough? Mainly want to do it so I can start doing fame quests and solos.

Have blm and rdm at 90.
