What are the easiest improvements to work towards if one were to come back to the game now if they haven't played since mid-2009?

Of course getting to level 90 would be the priority. Had pretty good gear at 75, but seems it'is no longer as good. Full Usu MNK, Amano SAM, and Homam THF, but are there any pieces I should quickly buy/get? Too overwhelmed by all the different items that I don't even know what to think about first, especially weapons. First things to work on while getting to 90???

Eventual goals would be helpful too. Keep in mind I will probably have the ability to 2-3box an assortment of mage types. Biggest obstacle is try to grasp all this new stuff...

Get to 90 ASAP, work on getting your 3 lunar abyssites and some good atmas to boot, then focus on af3+2s. Sam got lucky in that alot of the af3 is really easy to get. Start working on masamune or Victory smite, and put your amano in storage (lol).
Read up on abyssea, and plan your goals accordingly.

Is the skeleton NM in Grauberg anything difficult? I've noticed it can cast Death, and has Endoom and a Doom Aura after using Blood Saber.

I was thinking of going in with a couple of TP items, and chaining Victory Smites or just popping Hundred Fists with a Doom Screen up... basically looking at MNK + WHM + any other LS people who might want the abyssite.

killed with something like 3 smn and rdm. it was tearing through avatars fast with doom and aoe moves, but his hp didn't seem too high.

Also HP abyssites, it's the difference between a random wipe and letting an afk melee auto-attack for the entire fight and still win.

For a THF with X's knife and MNK starting from 75 with just destroyers, what weapon(s) should be used along the way to level 90, and what's good to use at 90 for general dd/tanking? No Verethragna/revenant fist plans for now

And is Morrigan's Robe worth getting still (I think I have all the pieces...don't remember. But money may be an issue at the moment...) or should it be skipped cause there's some awesome stuff later on? I have RDM and BLM at 75

Revenant fists are fully and 100% worth it. I used Destroyers until I had mine, not sure if there was much better. Once you get Razed ruins, Ascetic's Fury is an OK WS until you get Victory Smite.

Increased drop rates, super cheap ingots (130k on my server lol) and only needing 6 instead of 12, the robe should be a lot easier to get now. If it's still worth it, I'm not sure. My BLM and RDM are still using full morri since I haven't upgraded the AF3 to +1 or +2 yet.

Apparently i have been temp banned for 24hrs for unknown reasons. It has already been 24hrs and no lift has been made. Does it start at midnight the day you get banned? or am i just getting boned?

The 24 hours doesn't start until JP midnight, so depending on when you got suspended you could be locked out for up to 47 hours.

EDIT: I didn't think they directly told you the duration of your suspension? Except for that POL message they send that you can't check until after the suspension is lifted...

Recently changed to Windows 7 due to new PC etc and Clipper isn't opening AT ALL even running as Admin etc. Just nothing happens... doesn't even show up under Task Manager. Fairly sure a Firewall etc isn't blocking it. Anyone else suffered this/know how to fix?

Ok, so

I've gotten 5 bosses downed so far: Briareus, Cirein-croin, Sedna, Uleguerand and Altepa. I'm thinking of amber farming Tahrongi and Konschtat tomorrow to get Kulkukan, EE, and Glavoid pop sets. I think I should be able to do both those guys MNK WHM RDM np, which I'm hoping will be able to net me my 3rd lunar abyssite.

After that, the next obvious step is 9/9 and all the caturae. The only thing keeping me from Attohwa's boss is Tunga. Any tips on that little fuck? I feel like if I could get a clean pull and a clean 5-10 seconds fighting it, I should be able to solidify the fight enough to take it down, but it just keeps bouncing hate everywhere and petrifying everyone nonstop, and is annoying as fuck. Does it have some sort of messed up hate or hate reset? It feels that way, but it also may just be because I can't just get those few seconds to solidify it. I don't think the wamoura boss should give me any trouble, once tunga's out of the way.

Then there's Grauberg. Any tips on Melo Melo? When I tried duoing it with 2 rdms, we weren't able to deal enough damage to push it down. It kept regening more than we could deal before running back into the shell. I heard BLM can solo this, so I think I'm gonna finish up my BLM this weekend. Would any other kind of setup work for this guy? The actual NM seems like it should be cake.

And lastly the Caturae: I've already killed Iratham, and Misa&Attohwa, Vunkerl one should be easy whenever I feel like going after it. I'm assuming the last 2 I wont be able to solo? >_> Meh, no idea how I'm gonna do them. Anyone on Odin mind sending me a tell if you do any of these and have space for my char and 2 mules to leech? :D much appreciated (bosses I still need would be cool too <.<)

Where is some wind weather at? WG regions and terrigan dont seem to have wind for quite a while so i have to find an alternate place for my wind on a few trials.

If you dont need any drops from mleo melo you can get the KI from chest while killing other nms and crap instead in grauberg. Ive noticed that there are only like 2 KI to get in heroes zones which makes it really easy to get boss pops.
