I think on this laptop I've always had these problems, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I changed laptops last August. I want to say I didn't have them on my old one.

Did you switch from an ATI card to an nVidia? nVidia has been pretty notorious for having trouble with certain aspects of FFXI.

If there's a fix for it other than swapping out the appropriate .dats, I haven't found it.

How many Tier 1 VNMs in visions abyssea zones and repop on them? I see 2 dead t1s in highlands

In kons, usually 2-3 T1s around Efts, another 3-4 south of 5, near the morbols.

For you, is it just because there are often people crowded around those spots, or do you get it regardless? For me it's the latter =(

In regards to lag around tele points, maws, etc, there's nothing I've been to fix about that other than considered dat swapping a moogle in or something without the aura.

For Blinkmenot it's a small lag everywhere, horrible lag in crowded areas, especially after being in the area for awhile. There's a 5 page topic here and a new release should be coming soon:

Also, Kukulkan is a BITCH. Kiting it around the rock was easy, I think fight until I die > reraise kite while waiting on weakness > repeat would have worked. The mob itself was weak, and victory smites were doing 5%. Anyway, some JPs showed up and offered to help so I didn't have to do that (*'-') one more to go!

So despite having done several other quests in the zone, Raibaht still refuses to give me his quest in Abyssea-Konschat. I've done hope blooms, rose on the heath, shady business, and soul of the matter, but I just can't get this one. Anyone have any ideas on why?

Other way around actually- nVidia-> ATI. The nVidia didn't really have these problems as far as I remember.

For Blinkmenot it's a small lag everywhere, horrible lag in crowded areas, especially after being in the area for awhile. There's a 5 page topic here and a new release should be coming soon:

I actually don't use Blinkmenot, although I suppose I should. Are there any other plugins that tend to cause lag? I think I just use the basic windower ones + spellcast.

What is the fastest or best way to build cruor?

Grab a keywhore either from LS, f-list, or /sh and AOE Burn something. They're doing it for the XP, you're doing it for the Cruor. Win/Win.

Do gold boxes in Tahrongi drop all key items? At the very least, all of Glavoid's? Just curious cause lolotherwiki doesn't list all of them, although I was under the impression that they did.

I wouldn't then. Depending on job, you're probably not even gaining much mdb, and even if you do, how useful is that really anyway? With twilight, vallus, etc, you're probably already using a lot of the mdb gear you can get now, and nothing is ever dangerous with -50% mdt anyway. I'm trying to sell mine for 3m~ personally.

Does he have rdill at minimum? If no then get a gaxe. If yes then probably still get a gaxe. keep a spare axe on hand for blu proccing at least.
