Talk to new magian moogle, get trial for whichever job (don't have to be on the job), he'll tell you an item to go get, for example blm is a magicked skull, cor is counterfeit gil. Trade item to box, trade <job> torque to moogle, emote, ????, Profit.

Nope, been swaping that piece for TA for years, glad to finally have something new. Also, since both my +1 Hand and Legs are now obsolete, I can shove the whole +1 set into a claim slip.

Japanese websites listed the hands as "Enhances sneak attack" instead of TA. Looks like SE screwed up again.

I'm assuming they checked the text .dats in Abyssea - Empyreal Paradox or whatever it is.

I'm also assuming that "Abyssea" either refers to the giant plot hole of a story or the ass-abyss it was pulled out of.

Yeah, that was what I gleaned from reading the Emp Paradox-A dilogue file. But don't let my highly condensed version form your whole opinion. Maybe it will sound better in context of the actual scene... ? lol And frankly if you get Twilight gear from it who gives two frigs.

Side note, has anyone worked out what actually needs to be done to relics to make them the best weapon again? Is it just WS mods, or a complete overhaul is needed in terms of xDMG proc and other factors.

They aren't that far back outside of Abyssea, maybe 5-10% less effective. So, as long as SE doesn't make the 90-99 content Abyssea, just small upgrades will be enough.

If everything is Abyssea from now on, though, it'll take OAT or something crazy..
