Did you get the beta drivers that came out today? Made it thru the intro with no issues, though some pretty serious lag spikes during some of the cut scenes.

I did and I went back because I thought it was the drivers causing issues. Apparently it's the tessalation from what I've read in other places. You'll start to crash when you get into the forest.

Kind of unrelated, put praise the lord for steam preloads. Having to go out to sea for a few days tomorrow and thankfully was able to get this preloaded and just tether off my phone to unlock it.

The tressfx...kinda sucks imo. It looks gorgeous, but once the animation starts it just bounces all over the place all silly like. Definitely not keeping it on.

No shit, hour in and I'm fucking loving this. Performance is really solid once I killed tressfx and tessellation for the crashes.

No problems with tesselation here, GTX 580(oldish drivers, though). The eyecandy with TressFX on is just ridiculous, but botches the framerate so much >.<

Not sure how I felt about the non-stop QTEs at first, but they're kinda growing on me. Amazing overall so far.

Running a 7970 with tesselation/tressfx...around 50-60 fps average (ultimate setting). Not bad!

Rolling in the 100s (120hz monitor) while exploring the area after you meet up with everyone

. Frame rates are kinda jumpy ATM, vsync would probably not be fun until the drivers/game get a little better optimized.

For those that snagged it on Steam, the free DLC tomb is in that area.

I had a couple crashes at the start but haven't had any in a while. Really liking the adventure parts of the game so far, but the quick time events leave much to be desired.

I'm just annoyed how subtitles are displayed. The black background shouldn't be there ;<

Aside of that, gorgeous game, didn't ge to play much yet, but I liked the beginning.

Having some graphical issues with my GTX 560 myself. After I exited the first cave and entered the forest, graphics went to complete shit. (almost all the textures were just solid black almost, except Lara herself and some other things). Restarted my PC and it's working fine so far. Hope nothing that bad happens again...
