JP MNK+BRD+WHM trio wiped to Ansherekh a minute ago, WHM and MNK down without Reraise, so the Brd pops a Primeval Brew and solo's it down from 20% spamming Heavy Swing with his Light Staff. T1 Tigers are serious business.

Wakabo highjinks.

Long story short. I decided to rename a hand-me-down account a friend left for me to play with. Did not have a reason to transfer to another server, so went through standard delete/recover process to rename it. Mr.Wakabo called it fail.

Screenshot file got corrupted, fail in itself to be honest, but I just witnessed a WHM/RDM attempt to solo Tunga melee style.

He made it to 97%.

No pic, but I do bring random fail. After 5 years of playing XI I decided that when my CC expired I wouldn't renew my subscription. That was about 9 months ago.

Fast forward to today (well technically yesterday), a lady into Gamestop practically convinced me to reactivate and come back to XI. After struggling with passwords and reactivation of my POL account for about 30 minutes (not including the time spent looking for the token I didn't find), I discovered something. The Maat's cap + salvage/sky/sea gear character I spent 5 years (PS2 release) on had been deleted and replaced with a WAR1. Only 1 person had access to my account, too...

That would mean a whole lot more if any of that gear was still useful. Really, out of every Salvage, Sky, and Sea set, there's only a handful of very situational pieces left standing, and mostly applicable only to MNK.

The point was the time spent into the character, not what is useful. When I quit the level cap was 75 and there was no such thing as abyssea... I dunno what's good now, lol.

Also, not sure if serious, but it was not the lady at the gamestop. >_>;

So today I had a good laugh. I was killing turul with 2 other friends of mine and some random thf came by watching us. After it dies he states that i was cheating.
