So, we proc Yellow, and Blue on Orthrus just now, and well.....um......we also had a THF aura steal his blaze spikes. Note to self, don't dispel it's spikes, because THIS could happen.

Excuse my ignorance, but why would Fire V kill it if it casts it on itself to recover HP? I've only fought the mob 1-3 times and each time I was stunning anything that said "Fire" so nothing went off lol... Does it have to have spikes on for it to heal?

Decided to rush through trials for my alt's Twashtar.. everything popped like regular, until I reached Strongman. Got first 3 kills in 4 hours, which is decently fast. Now I'm still 3/4 and it's been 20 hours since last pop, while I've been killing the PH the entire time.

Correct. The Blaze Spikes effect has to be up in order for a Fire spell to heal Orthrus. We unfortunately had a THF Aura Steal the effect about 30 seconds prior to the ensuing "wtf random fail moment." We originally thought Fire spells healed Orthrus regardless of Blaze Spikes or no Blaze Spikes. Lesson learned.
