I can't recall an instance where if people are watching me/my alliance kill a mob, and it goes white, they don't try to steal it. "it's always been this way" I don't think so, it's more like, "people that let the mob go unclaimed wish it was that way"

If multiple people die and mob is running around wild killing people left and right, anyone who is watching is going to rightfully assume you can't handle the fight, and at that point it going white and outsiders claiming it should be expected. Some group of 7 (sup homingmissiles) wiped to fafnir while I was afk because they claimed darters. Came back in time to only take one screenshot, but I thought it was kinda mindblowing and hilarious that people can still wipe to this shit, even with claiming darters.
