Im in Neisans group and we change zones very often so farming Time isnt very productive, accompany that with limited play time for certain people and we just go in and kill shit.
If we plan to stay in a zone for the whole day we will farm time but just hasnt been the case lately.
Have pops for other NMs we want to do since others farm pops during the week. Its not as bad as it use to be when NMs had long respawn times but we do a lot of hoping.
It mostly boils down to the fact that we dont have a lot of time when we do run so instead of useing an hour or so out of the 4 to farm time, we just go kill.
Neisan also blows the shit out of his stones regardless lol, everyone else in the group has plenty to burn and we do farm when we are staying in a zone for a long time.
No stones? Go back to the old Jar'/'namis/vnms for a week. Just an idea.
Nature of the beast etc
We generally just have pops to burn in other zones, so we move. Im not saying we hope zones after every kill but 2-3 times a night is not uncommon.
We farm pops during the week so we dont have to spend time during it on run days. Yes its not the best way to do it but it works. Least im not sitting in whitegate shouting for 18 people for fucking caraboss if you didnt see that this past weekend rog, forget who was the shouter sadly.
You should change it so that you do it by zone. Think of each zone as a Salvage/Dynamis/Apollyon zone where you do one zone and only that zone one night and shift it every other night. If people farm pops on their own, that's great because it speeds up the process when you get around to doing that zone.
The abundance of retarded commentary definitely compensates for the lack of recent pictures. Specifically, I'm absolutely in love with all of the people crying about yellow mobs being claimed. They're just as bad as the idiots in the screenshots themselves, which makes it even more hilarious.
Whenever my friends and I lose claim to something, or know we're going to, I communicate with whatever other people are there (if I can), specifically offering them the mob. If it has something we want, I ask if there's any way we can lot on it if they're not interested. Also, if we claim something that has gone yellow, we always offer whatever we don't want to either the people we'd taken it from, in /s, or in /sh, depending.
That's perfectly ethical, in my opinion. Most people are also quite responsive, willingly inviting members of my group to lot on something we wanted but they didn't, and so on, so forth.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you are not a weepy pussy and/or an egotistical asshat.
