My Random Win, since I have nowhere to put it really:

Usually on Carby I am nice to the JP (except WoE they hate me there.) and it rewards me!

I got my Bullwhip many moons ago by just asking the JP what they wanted off Ovni (DNC solo) and he said body. He invited me and I got belt off his drop while he took the body. F-yea.

But I digress, yesterday I was in Misar with a friend duoing some Gukumatz for seals when he DCed mid-tank and we wiped. These JP grabbed him as soon as hate completely reset. Turns out there were ONLY there for Sobek skins and the 1 card he drops.

I sent a tell asking if they needed WHM because I would really like it --Then they allied me and proceeded to kill and say (treasure)(you can have this!) (please)(stay)!

They only wanted the KI's and to be able to pull the mob. So I stuck around with my friend and procced some red with staff/club on my BLM mule and many, many grellows.

I ended up with 8/8 BLM 8/8 WHM a couple COR, NIN, PLD and whatever else that dropped and 12/12 Stones from Sobek, lol.

EDIT: End result-- the JP NIN got Hi!

Is it random fail when you're camping Sippoy but had to wait for blunt time to try blue and when it's like 15 minutes game time away from blunt time, a THF and 3 WHM claims, popped fucking brew and they clap with each other then they leave then I'm left there with my mouth open wondering wtf just happened.

Not like 80 > 90 takes more than a few hours. The pop for Zelus' can at least be duoed. Hate reset might suck on Pantokrator though, but it should still be doable. Failing that, you can always blue > brew I guess.

Everyone I've talked to has complained about the iron giant being retarded and not worth duoing/trioing without brew. Is there some secret to it or something?

The longer you take the stronger it gets. Don't take long. I have not personally duoed it, but I have killed it with THF, WAR, and WHM. With Ukon, you could probably kill it with WAR + WHM.

Other than lacking a lot of red triggers, that should work fine for killing it. As Byrth said, don't take too long.

I'd assume so.

Monk can't counter ironclads, but WAR can't retaliate either. There's no point in shadows either way, so WAR can sub SAM and ride Hasso. You're going to be amnesia'd half the time, which may hurt WAR's damage more than Monk's.
