Skillchain damage is limited by the damage of the closing weaponskill. Your Light skillchains, assuming you land them for damage instead of healing, will only be as good as your Hexa while under brew.

Just stick to Flash Nova. Learn the timing of Rani's spells to avoid healing it, its much faster than the spellcasting cycle for most mobs. Bring a MNK with full Penance merits to Chi it at 50% so it wastes most of its time trying to Meteor you.

Ah gotcha. I think when I brewed Kutharei for my boomerang (not sure what kind of damage taken difference there is) I was doing 6-8k hexa strikes in my casting gear with a beneficus for some pretty nice light skill chains. But I guess having to break it up constantly to avoid healing it would hurt that plan

waaiiit you definetly left out the most important part, i was allowed to come leech because you wanted me to hold KI's for your glavoids, not because you just wanted me to come leech, it benefited you, its not our fault when you're on skype all you did was bitched about someone doing this or someone doing that, or you wanted this or that, everything always had two sides to it, it was never oh ill come help just cause i can, best example i can think of, in the middle of us doing rani's for epona's you came out and in the middle of it while waiting on 22 for blunt procs tried getting us to drop what we were doing to go do your t2 pop so you could lot war seals, and then when we said we werent going to you suddenly remember you had school and left to go to sleep because you didnt wanna fall asleep on us while you were on brd, definetly gonna miss those marches while brewing, thanks for the help btw =D
