Wind crystals are 3k stack, if you go back to windy/ starting zone and save them you can make gil off those. Yagudo drop bead necklaces you can trade to a npc for fame and some gil. It's not really that hard, especially with crystal prices on the rise.

Was on my way to get a friend returning to the game the abyssite off the tonberries. When I ran into a unclaimed Turul @ 11% with 6-7 people chasing it. So I grabbed it, and quickly killed it.

We had a couple Kirin sets to burn thru, decided to give it a shot earlier today. Unfortunately there was another group there that showed up at the same time, and popped first. Unfortunately, they were also French; they brought something like 12 or 14 people, they actually kited it and waited for adds to die before starting damage. Their first took more than 40 minutes and involved a shitton of deaths. After they finally killed it, we popped it with 5 and of course killed it within the span of a minute. Shit-talk in /say ensued naturally, and the other group explained their total shit-show was just a result of not using 2-hours.

Full wipe on Kirin in 2011! They got overwhelmed by the adds, Byakko was dropping people left and right, lol.

We wound up joining up with them after that one to help them out on their remaining pops, and managed to kill it just fine within the span of a couple of minutes without the use of 2hrs or mass death!

Well, in fairness to the other group, we initiated the trash-talking. They were on the defensive!

Plus, I figure it served as a bit of wound-salting to show them very definitively it doesn't require 2hr abilities or anything terribly special to pull it off. Part of me wants to say it was probably instructive overall, but if you're wiping to Kirin at 90 with an alliance, I guess lesson-learning is probably not your strong suit.
