Hide only works if the mob detects by normal sight only, eg no scent either (making it restricted to a very small family of mobs and certainly not NMs).

Some more lovely Port Jeuno drama. Valefor is usually fairly quiet aside from having Welfare, so this was a nice break from the usual.

Before pics, the story/background: Taliaz, a notoriously stupid player. In the past, he has done things such as shout for Shinryu while claiming mail/helm etc before shouting for a brewer. He couldn't proc, he couldn't provide TH, he couldn't brew. Just an idea of his personality. (Image here)

So anyway, here's the story. Taliaz shouts for a group for Azdaja. I woulda joined for the coins, but I've learned the hard way that going with him is a bad idea. Like several times in the past, he wiped. His entire group wiped. They're idiots, but hey, at least THIS time it wasn't among the skeletons. >.> Zombieing my ass. Anyway. Three (four? not sure) of my lsmates are there with him at the time. They all get kicked and blamed for "MPKing the group." Funny thing... They left the whole mess alone until Azdaja regened, one of my guys took him and brewed him, and they won.

So this is the aftermath in Port Jeuno. I missed the very beginning of it, like 10 shouts tops:

But wait, a challenger approaches! I didn't get a screenshot of the first part, but Bindingmobs (one of our most reliable sources, clearly... see my post of him in the Gimp/Confused/WTF player thread) decides to augment the story by saying Poraube MPKed his party before. Funny thing is that with his timing, the guy was elsewhere. I jabbed back at him about some drug theory he came up with back during a La Theine worms party I was building time off of for, that's what the whole force and emotions and such line comes from. Random fail is more the stuff at the bottom. He sends me tells later about the whole situation, and hey, apparently I'm an evolutionist now! Funny, I should turn in my Bible...
