No inflection in text, etc. There's no way they could have known he was joking, especially if they don't know him or his posts. Assholes legitimately trying to pawn seals for gil have ruined all of the humor there, unless you strike out for like, 4m or something.

Even if he weren't joking, in what way does that make him an asshole? What makes seals an illegitimate product? Because they're easy to get? If they're that easy to get, the gimpshits shouldn't be bitching about it in the first place.

No pictures, but I went to a shout group Dragua to kill 2 for them and get scales. Some BST in the group lotted the scales (didn't beat me), so I asked him if he actually needed them. His response was "Not sure. I have a lot of jobs."

Lol I had the exact thing happened from another guy, doing Sobek for Almace and he lotted skin, I asked him if he actually needed the skin, then he said, "Not sure, I have a lot of jobs." exactly like your guy did, then I ask which, he said, WAR, THF, MNK, and something else not PLD RDM BLU NIN, and he said he might be doing WAR or THF, when I pointed out that skin isn't used for those, then he said, he might do it in the future....

Pretty much why I am not in any Abyssea / Event Linkshells anymore. I got so tired of the frigging loot whores. Those people who need to lot literally everything because they have every job leveled.

What really baked my chicked however was this one clown who cried every time he had to come Black Mage to an event but weas the first to ask if they can lot Black Mage items when they dropped. So selling an item is extortion now? Sounds to me more like a market economy. In case you didn't realize, the developers even implemented a currency in the game called "gil" that was created for the sole purpose of item trade between players.
