Three of us all took 2.5k+ damage off a single spike hit (Zedi was in another pt to mine, filters etc.). But 5.7k, god-damn!

The spikes trigger when he sits, yes, but they're usually much more manageable than that. It typically isn't an instant kill from one melee attack.

Wow I thought the 1.9k dmg spikes he got me with once was bad. But yeah it seems totally random what kind of damage the spikes will do, I've seen 50-ish, 500-ish, 1k-ish and the 1.9k ones. Kinda made me feel a bit dumb when I swung at him once and insta-died, lol.

Well, the last pic I posted got me reamed out because it was an lsmate (like you guys would have known who he is? I blanked out his name anyway), but since I got kicked from the shell for a dumb reason, I'm all clear to post this. :D

Backstory: My shellmates and I are fighting Indrik lowman, NIN/THF/BLU/SAM/WHM (or BLM left earlier and we were doing it for shits and giggles). We got it down to low HP, Sadpanda (our SAM) Fudo'd it down to 2%, then it turned and Lance'd him for 7.2k, and he goes down. I Everyone's Grudged it on BLU, it went down. Didn't intend to kill it while he was down, and at the same time spaced about the whole atma bit. He gets pissy because he didn't get the atma due to being dead. I made a mistake, but honestly after getting reamed out several times today I'm a bit pissy myself and simply leave. He tells me that I need to stop acting like a sackholder - which he still hasn't clarified? I've argued decisions but I've not given orders - and breaks my shell after I call him a child for flipping out over an atma.

At this point I talk with the shell leader. He and I discuss things, and he gives more valid reasons that I should be kicked; i.e. I was absent from events because I was working on a paper and idly soloing BLM on the side. That sorta thing? I can see it. I'm a little argumentative too, that's okay. These are valid reasons. However, he goes on to say that he would repearl me, but because he doesn't want 'bad blood' in his shell, i.e. fights between me and Panda, he decided not to. Now here I get a bit annoyed, because I can handle being in shells with people I don't like and simply ignore them unless I have to acknowledge them. If anyone would be likely to start the fight, it would be the other person's problem. In the end though, I respect the shell leader's decision; it is his choice in the end. Gotta move on sometime.

Now, I send a tell to panda letting him know he's blacklisted. This isn't the first time he's been pissy and flipped out at me because he didn't get something. Sent him a tell, blisted him, moved on with my life. I have a scroll of Quake to camp, tyvm. And then I get a POL message from him, and this is the amusing part:

I'm amused that he commented though, we've seen each other via Skype chat. And yet supposedly I'm the ugly one when I have a relationship of two years going and he's single. Surprise! I guess I've had it all wrong this whole time.

First shell I've ever been kicked from. It does hurt nonetheless, I like most of the people in it. =(

My LS leader kicked me because he hates me and is butthurt for me always not attending optional dynamis. The funny part in all of this is that we never do anything but dynamis anymore and instead of splitting currency like everyone else does now, were still doing it to pump out relics for the people he deems "worthy". Now he hates me but just about everyone else in the shell doesn't. So of course he then proceeds to ban me from vent, a vent channel we all use for various other purposes. It didn't even take our vent admin 5 mins to unban me in a very LOL no fashion.

We have one night a week where we just go get people random stuff. One person still needed the NIN thingie from Gangly Gean, so we claim him and this person hovered for us the entire time. Normally we just ignore stupid. I'm not sure if the fail is that they thought we would be wanting to fight this guy for any reason *other* than the accessory and that we would be willing to give it to them... or that they couldn't figure out that we were being sarcastic.



This is pretty old. There's 2 groups camping Amun, both of us have only 1 person who needs the key item. Amun spawns closest to me, the other group's claimer is on the opposite side of the area. I claim and agro at least 2 other eyes, get slept/stunned/interrupted while Amun is deagroing. By the time I am able to get another spell off, the other group's claimer is able to claim it.

Its probably best you got kicked. I do not know how people can stand panda. He sucks at all his jobs and he is annoying on vent/skype.
