So did you die to Whiro or not? I'm mildly confused by all of this. One pic of you claiming you lost claim after reraise while casting shadows, yet the logger post showing that you seemingly deaggroed and lost claim. Stupid shitty drama is shitty, just confused by the pictures.

Was duo'ing Whiro for a buddy's seals, we were going through the deaggro to reset grellow crap when they showed up and started stalking Whiro. Ended up having my friend straight tank it rather than risk deaggro and lose it. My LS mate ended up dying so I was just kite nuking it down, it deaggroed while doing that and they grabbed it.

tbh, who cares its a 15min repop, I guess they didn't find it funny as I did that we didn't even want the same drops.

As far as Rani goes, was days ago, we deaggroed/died to reset the -DT and his LS grabbed/held it, ended up teaming with them to kill since all their leaders wanted was Twilight access.

Overall amusing, least to me.

Omg you have no idea how many time i see shouts for things like Kukulkan, Carabosse, etc with people wanting 18 people... Not only can those NMs be Duo'd, who the hell would join a shout like that for anything other than the win =.=a? You're almost guaranteed to be lotting against 17 other people for the 1-2 items that'll drop (you know they won't proc).

It is rather hideous. I've joined PUGs on Asura for things that actually require more than six people or so, but for anything else, my friends and I low man it. Our Linkshell only has around eight or nine regular members, and we're all friends; truthfully, we don't need more people, though old buddies do sign on occasionally.

In fact, sometimes, we'll see someone /shouting in Jeuno to build a big group to fight stuff that's easy as hell, which we duo or trio to help one another get seals; Wherwetrice, Blazing Eruca, Avalerion, and so on. A lot of it can even be soloed if you're reasonably skilled (you don't even have to be excessively so)...

Usually, whenever we see such a shout start up, we go to the zone and manage to kill the NMs a shitload of times before the collection of retards actually shows. Then we get /checked a lot (this especially happens to me when I'm duoing NMs on MNK with support), as if we're doing something incredible.

I'm proud of my friends, but I'm disappointed that the majority of the FFXI populace is lazy and willfully ignorant. Sadly, I know that applies as much in this virtual world as it does to all things in life.

Im watching a group fight rani right now. they used brew on it and brew wore off at 66%

sat and watched a jp ally fight rani for over an hour last night. Soooo comical. three times they got 10+ people charmed at once. It was like a benny hill skit. After about 1hr 15 min they finally had the bright idea to get a brew in there, to which he healed it from 30 > 50% with eviseration. Good times.

Thoe Rani's are the best. I find myself sitting at conflux 8 when i have extra time, just waiting for random LS's to wipe to Rani.

Heck, getting tells to brew people's Rani in exchange for 1m now too.
