I was 1 wrong move away from total failure til I discovered his pattern:
first I did beast and he did dragon and beat me; picked beast several more times and he picked same. I picked wind expecting him to do dragon and he did. next he copied me and did what I did last move: wind. So I picked beast because I thought he was gonna use wind like I did last round. Sometimes he picks the same move as you do, in that case, pick the move that beats the move you just used next. came back and won 5 straight in a row ftw. Hope this helps.
Shit took me like 15 minutes to do. He kept using the same one I was using lol.
1/1 picking the choice that would have defeated the opponents last "throw."
beat it my first try lol pick the same option over and over = win
if you really think its based on what you used last, you're in for a rude awakening:
red/red
red/blue
green/blue
green/green
red/green
red/red
green/red
green/blue
red/red
red/blue
red/blue
red/red
red/red
red/red
red/blue
I said I won picking what beat his last pick. not my last pick, probably just random shit though
Getting crests is still a pain in the ass. Blurgblurgblurg.
I kept a stack of 99 crests anticipating needing them for level cap (been needed for the last two.. so why not..) and for WoE weapons. :3
Just got a "High Kindred's Crest" off of Flans in Mt.Z.
"Surreal, nightmarish patterns adorn this crest, symbolizing a Kindred house of the purset lineage"
Not a usable item, stacks, no idea if it's related to normal Kindred's Crests or what.
Annecdotal evidence but after fumbling with random choices for a bit, he seems to attempt to counter your last selected move. If I chose beast in the previous round, in the next round he'd choose dragon to trump that, therefore you choose wind for example.
This seemed to work for me:
Pick whatever for the first one.
Cycle 1:
If you started with Wind:
- Counter the next one with Dragon
If you started with Beast
- Counter the next one with Wind
If you started with Dragon
- Counter the next one with Beast
Cycle 2:
If Degenhard does the same counter as you...
If he copied your Beast, do Dragon next
If he copied your Wind, do Beast next
If he copied your Dragon, do Wind next.
Then repeat Cycle 1.
If he doesn't do the same counter as you, repeat cycle 1 again too.
I just picked dragon every time, and won the second time.
