here is what happened for 2hrs --> charm -> charm -> charm -> charm -> charm -> charm -> charm, it didnt even kill us it just forced us to time out at 16%, picture is what the fight looked like for 90% of it.

You should have killed all those charmed ppl and you would have 6/6 Caturae done or even more !

iirc Long-Barreled Chariot was the one that had Homing Missle, but I've only fought it once so yeah.

How do you avoid this? I tried tanking on the sides but it still did a fuckload of damage.

We just let it hit us (3 DDs) and tossed Cure 5/6s. I think it's hate reset like an unnerfed LBC, so having one DD save TP until after they see their HP drop isn't a bad idea. Also, he has regain and will use it on the puller on pull.

Just as a note. They didn't fix the Ironclad glitch very well. A taru-height deviation (him up, me down) was blocking most of Smiter's TP moves yesterday and I could still melee him.

Stun it. Melee turn until Stun is ready again (assuming lowman and not multiple stunners). It has no Regain (and if it does, it's not great enough to get another TP move off before Stun is up)

if it doesnt have regain it sure as hell starts with 100% tp. It's blown our puller's face off with homing missle the second they touch it.

The ??? Needles cactus NM is such a bitch. ??? Needles damage looks (to me at least) to be his Max HP - Current HP divided evenly among the targets. We've seen it break 50k with two targets, I think. Migawari is your friend. Two ninjas with 2-hours and Revitalizers + support would be a very safe fight (one goes in at a time, Mijin to get back into it quickly).

The ??? Needles cactus NM is such a bitch. ??? Needles damage looks (to me at least) to be his Max HP - Current HP divided evenly among the targets. We've seen it break 50k with two targets, I think. If you have a good stunner too that helps since migawari isn't always up and the cactus can back to back ??? needles

Charmga range of I think 18'-20' (range might expand sub 25%, I always kept at max casting distance regardless). Sleepable w/ no enhanced abilities besides looking awesome. Also, sadly you cannot put chocobo chics on the charmed peoples heads. I know, right?

We did him smn style and took him down with a party of 3 smn, 2 blms, and a thf we just had to kite him around the rocks in the middle area and stay out of range of ??? the blms would pull hate and kite and smn would magical BP it. Fun fight especially seeing the thf hit for 32k from ??? needles dropped soil belt and something else I forget...

Anyone fought the t2 Cactuar Emperador de Altepa? I was fighting him a few days ago and noticed 1k needles double when its HP got lower and eventually I died due to double 4k needles getting me.

Thus far, I've never gotten enough info from only 2 NPCs to get all correct information. I've always had to talk to all 3.

And, sadly, even if you get enough info from 2 of them (sometimes the first 2 say the exact same things) you still have to talk to the 3rd before Chumimi will take your guesses.

Am I missing something? Seems to me bard + nin could easily duo it because Migawari is always up?
