It doesn't necessarily cast a -ga or ja then follow up with a TP move. It can be single target too. From what I remember (I only fought it once lol) it cast Stonega 3 and Stone IV above 50% and under 50 used ga4, t5, and ja.

But yeah ga4 -> tp move can hurt.

If you can't stun it's casts you need new stunners. If you need to stun it's casts you need a new strat. If you can't reapply shell if it gets dispeld quit the game.

Well, you seem really experienced at fighting Rani How about you tell us your strategy, if it isn't too much trouble? We did beat it... but we would rather it go smoothly and fast like every other Cactare fight. But I don't see what's wrong with trying to stun an aga 4 if the opportunity arises and you have a blm in the group.

edit: Apparently someone did PLD+SMN Burn yesterday on our server for an EXTREMELY easy kill, for those that have that option, and just want it dead without brew! XD

Got the quest. Checked that ??? spot by surveyors but just gives a "nothing out of ordinary" message. Am I missing something?

Anyone found Hedjedjet up after maintenance? Been wide scanning scorpions for over an hour and nothing. Scorps also seem to be depopping randomly even with no one killing them to level 'em up.

The T2-T3's that were up on release day probably weren't supposed to be, which is why we had the ?????'s at 100%. Hedjedjet is a T3 iirc, so it needs to be unlocked properly first, now that they've (supposedly) fixed it.

I agree the conversation is dumb, sorry to have added onto it. Of course you can just cast again, it's not like people didn't think about that, it's just an absorb maniac with insane fastcast even with debuffs. (Bring dispellers) If you have to think about casting stun you might be too late, if that's any indication of how fast it casts. (And for those that want to rely on stunners for whatever reason, note you need good skill to land it).

The aegis thing was just a suggestion, that's all, if you have it, it doesn't hurt to use it.

I didn't use any -MDT gear or any shell was applied to me either and I was taking -ga 4 like nothing and not a single -ga4 killed me not even once or the meteor. I was on MNK with 4000 HP and that was good enough for me and the other MNK was 6000 HP while still spamming asc.Fury for 1900-2800+ before the 50% HP mark hit.
Even though -ga did not kill us once, he still raged cause we could not kill him fast enough even with 6 garuda helping us out to do predator claws and help us absorb -ga.
I assume we DO need BRD buffs to take him down faster before rage and just spam finale IDK. I think he ate my counterstance he got squishy for quite a bit that first 20% the 2nd time around. Charmga really messed up hate and turned it into a kite fight for 5 mins until we took hate back and thats a time killer for rage. It causes garudas to miss blood pacts too and I see that was 1 mistake we made. I think we needed more random DDs going in and WS too like blue mage or WARs doing Ukkos fury or something, or SAMs running in and WS.

With atma and spells/gear giving you like 15/tic regain, there is no reason you cannot do the WS run thingy. Gonna try again, no Brews tommorrow.

We noticed the same thing too last night. Spent a good 20-30 minutes in between spamming Bemmus looking for the scorpion. We started camping him and killing scorpions for time and at some point all of the scorpions depopped at the same time. Not just ones that were left up and were despawning back to DC, but every scorpion despawned at the same time. A few minutes later they all came back at the same time.

After killing some scorpions, we got a few HQ scorpion claws which appeared to be some kind of pop item. No info anywhere on it. So, like Massimo said, we assumed they fixed him. We're assuming it's get pop item from ladybugs > Ladybug NM to 100% + Scorpions to 100% > Ladybug NM drop + HQ Scorpion Claw to pop T2 Scorpion to 100% > Hedjedjet.

Do all the quests you can, some multiple times. The new zones have Atma you can obtain after you do some combination of Ops + quests + fame level, so you might as well work progress on that too.

just a heads up.Battlerigged Chariot in altep became 0% earlier on, and this made Long barreled Chariot turn into ??????: 100%.........

and now the long barreled has never respawn since.........

better not leave ur NMs unattended even tho they worth worthless i guess -_-

as for rani only needing ironclad to spawn, we'll have to find out from other servers that not spawn rani XD

Quick Q: When Deaggroing Rani to get rid of Rage, Do you have to let it Regen 1 Tick before Claiming? or can you claim once it Goes Idle/White.

No, i don't know why people still think you need to let mobs regen to reset rage. The second it goes passive you can reclaim it. You may not even need to wait for it to go white, but not sure about that.
