This. Once a NM has no hate on anyone, rage is over. Which likely means it'll turn white.

I don't think that is why. They fixed the NMs that weren't supposed to be prepopped, in the update yesterday, which means your server needed to get the T1 to 100% before the T2 could properly pop. It was already discussed like 7 posts up.

I know this post isn't Rani related as has been the focus the last two pages previous, but I have a small contribution to make to the Brygid quest.

After finally getting my refresh +1 subligar from the Brygid quest, I took down what all pieces of equipment she had me come to her in. It should be noted I did the quest on RDM, so pieces of gear may or may not vary from job to job.

Bodies:
Scorpion Harness, Tiger Jerkin, Errant Hpl, Justaucorps, Silk Cloak, Black Coterhardie, Blue Coterhardie, Coral Scale Mail, Darksteel Harness, Aketon and Vermillion Cloak.

Legs:
Dusk Trousers, Battle Hose, Vendor's Slops, Silk Slacks, Tabin Hose, Jet Seraweels, Silken Slops, Errant Slops, Coral Cuisses, Clown's Subligar.

Also noteworthy I think, is if you have HQ versions of the gear she wants you to show up in, they work. Which works out for me because a friend wasted a t1 craft making me Silk Slacks +1 and I attempted to use them rather than having hi mcraft another nq. >.> Was also annoying having to have battle hose crafted.. only to turn around and have them turned into Tabin Hose.

Not altep related but got ironclad from 21% to 100% and did not unlock raja in graub, probably not the same as rani.

I do believe it requires both the Ironclad and the T2 chariot to be 100% to pop, no? So if the chariot is not 100%, the ??? should not be up. (They just changed some of the NMs appearing things, so its also possible you may have to kill T1 enough to make the T2 not ????, but I don't think so.)

That elevated area by the detectors/chariot. It's the elevated area right by the conflux. Somewhere up there.

Where do you get the wyvern egg for the Tomb quest? Is it from the zone or the old fashioned DRG unlocking quest way?

You get the egg by the Roc area. There is an NPC there. Take the egg to Meri spot, return to guy by wall then quest giver.

Anyone know if the chariot key item can be obtained from a gold chest? (they key item that helps pop stuff to pop the demon)

You can only get Bennu and Dragua's key items from chests.

Anyone have a lot of experience with Amarok? The first pop or two, he was extremely easy, though he kept roaring and we couldn't figure out why. Third pop he roared, cast Firaga 3 for the normal weak damage, then did Lava Spit that did like ~2.5k dmg. Shit was ridiculous. Aside from that, it was the easiest fight in the world ;;

I have no idea what is going on in this thread, but both Amarok and Orthrus are forced-popped. Amarok requires Tiger King Hide, HQ Dhalmel Hide, and Sharbaba(sp) Hide. One's from the timed pop Tiger in the Manigordos, the other from the regular dhalmel mobs, and the third from the force-popped Kirin model manticore. Amarok drops a key item to pop Orthrus.

And yeah, Amarok is a really easy fight. I was just wondering why he kept roaring and why Lava Spit wrecked my face randomly, it only had a killer Lava Spit once, but it killed me right dead. Just wondering why it randomly did triple damage

To try and settle some silly arguments I keep hearing: the hide from the tiger NM, do any !!s influence it's drop rate? That it isn't 100% made me sad.

Seriously, this. Why the fuck aren't the manticore and tiger hides 100%.. such fucking bullshit.
