I assume Vadleany (Ladybug) is a total bitch of a mob granted it holds a consistant 0% status on our server?

It is a thief mob, so it triple attacks and has annoyingly high evasion. It a special tp move called Spiral Burst that is cone. I believe it wipes or ignores shadows, and I've seen it spike to up to 3800 if it triple attacks. Since it counts as multihit like that, migawari doesn't prevent it from oneshotting a nin from full hp.

Looking at Brygid quest, few questions so I understand it:

1.) Do I need to buy 24ish pieces of armor for this? I have rdm, blm, whm, cor available to complete quest with.

2.) Do you have to zone after each quest?

From what I've heard, pretty much. Which sucks, cause now hedjedjet wont pop until someone takes it to 100% so we can pop the scorp.

Yeah this is the scenario im in atm, Id like the T2 scorp to pop but ladybug has been hovering around 0-7% for days now. Any idea how many kills gets a mob to 100% and how quickly it decays?

afaik none of the KI NMs (excluding zone bosses) and alot of the free roaming NMs in the t3 category have 100% drops. Most of them actually have 2/2 drop rates on seperate body mats with one having a higher drop rate than the other. Drag is piss easy without fanatics for anyone thats competent and interested in the nm. Takes about 15-20min nin whm whm

I dont remember exactly, but it was something like 3% base, and 2% per !!! procd, so it could be 9% per pop if you can proc all 3. so technically, people could unlock stuff in under 2 hours, but, yea.

But yes, you will unfortunately need to buy or have the items crafted for you. !!But!! if a piece is really a pain in the ass/temporarily unavailable for you to get you can decline the quest. Which will prompt you to have to zone out to reflag it. I had to do this when she asked for a clown's subligar.

And yes, you do have to zone out to get the quest again.

I am interested in making Hedjedjet pop again for the Soulscourge SMN staff, but it will never repop unless ladybug and the T2 scorp are pushed to 100 >< I'm sure we could do it with ppl in a few hours.

There's something I noticed about Rani after a particularly drawn out fight I was in last week.
I know how everyone mentions that she gains MDT/PDT over time, but in that fight, after I started doing ~20 ranged attacks and ~250 Sidewinders, using Flashy Shot pulled off a 1.2k Sidewinder. I'm pretty sure Flashy Shot does not ignore defense, just ignores lvl difference penalties.

Is it possible that Rani lvls up like some other NMs (ex. Apademak) with certain TP moves or actions done to her?
It's pretty obvious she does not only gain MDT and PDT, as her eva, attack, and m.attack shoot up as well.

Don't enfeeble Vadleany, it's Spiral Burst move (listed as random 500-7000 damage on wiki) is based on the amount of enfeebles that have been landed on the mob since it last used it (or could be currently active on it) - we killed it without enfeebling it at all, and its Spiral Burst never did more than 600. Made it easy to farm.

Every mob that i've seen level up (at least in the past) actually get the "level up" message to appear much like players.

From my fight with her last night, I can attest that the more you use a !! weakness the shorter the duration it is. Our 3rd red lock barely lasted 10 seconds.

That's how it's been since they introduced Abyssea though.

I think it's more possible that Rani just slowly builds up a rage, than gets levels, even if it would sort of make sense. Does level-ups usually reset on deaggro? I've never tried.

i would say 2-5 is pretty darn good man

today i went 2 horn out of 7 apademaks

not to mention dragua is easy to pop with boxable KI, and also a dragon to easily proc red to get KI

orthus is much harder with gay tiger king hide (gay NM and gay drop rate), apademak with gay sisyphus cockblocker (also gay NM with gay drop rate) but at least orthus is 100% 1-2 and not fucking 0

15-20 min at what seems to be it'll be like 150 kills... {No Thanks}. 2-3 minute rush with Fanatics and TH is the best route to go
