Assuming Koios is up and about for a long time, where is his "end" idling area at?
His path goes from near-Conflux 1 down past limules, rocs, cocks, desert puks (though I've never caught him in here), and down to treants and (I think? clionids).
He does pop right next to conflux 2, and wanders arond, past base camp, through limules and cocks, past 4, through the puks, and he can be in the murex, or wandering around near Emperador's spawn area. He occasionally goes a bit further north than that, but never as far as the mandies or the bombs. And he never goes back towards 2.
Hate Rani... 5 fights last night with 4 blue proc and TH7 or better on all of them and not a single epona's ring. Guess that makes up for the previous 9ish fights of 100% drop. Was so hoping to be done with her.
Took out a few Orthus (sp? big cerb) and many members were getting horrible lag fighting at the pop spot. Is this normal? I assumed it was because of the large open location and heavy fire usage making the game cry. Is there a good place to take it to reduce this?

Also, general strat for him, lowman? My only concern is horrid roar removing counterstance. dual tank rather than single? Mnk + nin? or w/e. Good lowman set up for this mob + strat plz/ty
Still busted, did about 7 this weekend and only got 1 scale (we were farming +2 stuff). Relatively easy, tanked mnk/war (spharai), and had TGF, WHM, BRD, BLM and BLU.
WHM needs to keep Barpetra and Barstone up all the time because Terra Wing has a chance to petrify. Typhoon Wing just causes blind. All his wing moves are are considered physical damage. He drops a fanatic's powder on every kill so I'd recommend saving until the last 10-15% because he gets spammy with Terra Wing. Can probably be done with WHM + MNK but I'd have a THF for th and a backup stona of some sort. Also his regular attacks have a chance of causing petrification too, but its a low chance with barpetra/barstone up. I wouldn't worry about horrid roar so much, as long as you have high hp and whm has good refresh atmas, just provoke after horrid roar and should be no problem.
Terra Wing had no effect when Fanatic's Powder was active (Says no effect in chatlog). Also took 0 damage Terra Wings when I had Shadow Mantle equipped (Chatlog said 0 points of damage). I think it's Physical unless Barstone from WHM allowed me to resist it 100% (doubtful).
Unless I'm misinformed Fanatics in abyssea annul physical damage only unlike salvage which was all types of damage? Didn't have shadow Ring equipped when this occurred either.
Typhoon Wing is probably magical and I shouldn't have said "all" wing moves were physical. Terra wing functions as physical damage though from my experience..
Fanatic's simply stops all WS damage in addition to melee damage, has no relation whether WS is magical or physical.
Fanatics is fanatics, same as in salvage or nyzul or besieged. So yes it will "no effect" a bunch of tp moves that do magical damage, including wing moves. That 0 damage happen while you had a cureskin up?
Dragua can easily be done mnk whm thf/whm(mostly for TH purposes not extremely necessary)

Win tactic for "lowest" man
15' for whm so you run minimal for barstonra and not get hit by GAs. 15' for thf so ur 30' from dragua to get hit by wings(forgot if wings is 25' or 30'. if its 25' just adjust nearer to whm)

30' it is for most of them. At least Dragua and Isgebind that I know.

MNK + THF duo tank.
WHM RDM SCH for cure.
BRD BLM BLU for trigger.
Tank party is relatively easy to kill and lesser cure after everyone got Fana powder from 1st killed.
Rotate ppl in pt to use them. Would advise to start using at around it's 30% hp or less depends on how many you have in pt.
Last 25% on tp moves just annoying. Not dangerous at all though.
