Is the Th part true? Just done too many to feel that it's completely random and nothing to do with whether thf present or not.

I can vouch for TH being potent, THIII trait at least. In about 25ish kills with THIII+2 on various nm's I have not seen a singlet drop. Small and pretty much irrelevant sample, but it can't hurt.

sisyphus fragment being a bitch recently....only 3 drop from the last 22 sisyphus (all with TH)

and fragment going up to 50k a pop on my server now -_-

idk why some empyrean weapon gets harder at 90 and yet masamune is undoubtedly the easiest route to 90

carabosse > CC > a easiest wyrm that KI is boxable, and owait even the T2 dragon is fast repop and you can proc red for 100% KI

Easy kill as NIN WHM, so THF WHM should be the same. Eva tank owns him, and enfeeble landed easy as WHM

Can anyone give me some tips for Apademak? Just tried it tanking at the sides, but it turned and used Lithic Breath on me anyway. It then proceeded to spam Fulmination about three times in a row ending our run.

stop him from lvling up

get a BLM sj RDM or SCH to use alacrity , give blm haste and fastcast atmas to solo stun all spell casting

if you can spare another BLM just rotate stun and ur golden

he does build resistance to stun after like 10 stuns, THF/BLM stun work for me until the 10th cast or so and start resisting but BLM should stun ok after 10 times, and he should be dead within 10 mins

he will only use lithic breath after lvl up. Once he lvl up, he gets like 100% TP instantly and uses a WS after. It is usually lithic breath when he turns, or fulmination.

He gains access to fulmination as usual TP move after 1 lvl up. If you can have someone follow to stun his first spell on pop, then u can keep him un-lvled.

A unleveled apademak is easy to eva tank, can land kurayami, only uses dreadstorm and mist, normal evasion and should die real fast.

A full leveled apademak has mad evasion even with sushi, resist all stuns, and use fulmination as every WS........he also have lithic breathe if u stand infront of him, and uses plague swipe(also uses this when ur behind him) right after breathe for instant kill sometimes. Plague swipe wiped all my 5 shadow, did 1.3k damage, gave me virus and bio status.

my usual setup for him is nin thf whm whm blm/brd(for stun and yellow!! lol)

Landed 1k Needles on Empousa and he took 875 dmg instead of 1k. Not sure if that number correlates with a traditional MDT amount, but there's the info if you want to mess with it.

I really am starting to get the feeling that finishing the first two stages of emp will be akin to finishing the first two stages of a relic where it will almost seem trivial compared to what it takes to upgrade fully. I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of (85) Kannagi's but (99) Kannagi's might be a lot more rare.

The logic there isnt very solid, seeing how the lesser stages of relic the weapon is still completely useless, and Empy's are even decent on T1, people will still be able to get 75 items in one weekend when pop items are cheaper, and more knowledge of the fights is there.

Are the Stones of Ardor and Coin of Ardor in a different loot pool then Grellow !! triggering like other notorious monsters for Indrik? I just killed him like 30 minutes ago triggered Grellow and Red and all I got was a stupid Light Belt.

No Thf I was soloing Nin/Dnc testing out a MDT build and got Grellow with Katon: Ni so I just popped a Brew and zerged it for fun. To my knowledge though all NMs that drop +2 items have a 100% drop rate on one of the two types it drops. So triggering Grellow should have unlocked the ability for it to drop the two others.


Just talked to a friend about it, I didn't realize he was one of the group that does not have a specific 100% coin stone or card. /facepalm
