~2.5k damage causes it to land after it's next tp/spell.

It has a set pattern for using tp and casting while in the air; you can use that to time nukes while its flying, and it will land very quickly. This assumes you are bringing a blm for green triggers at least.

Imo very unlikely.
It got 95% accuracy hitting my nin in my semi evasion set which is +54 evasion +10 evasion skill +22Agi + Yonin.
Maybe full evasion THF with evasion atma will evade enough but as a Kannagi NIN with marches and haste I was killing it like 10min+ (eyeballing) with gh rr apocalypse so if you only gonna use thf, with evasion atma, on it that will be really long fight.

I tried below combination.
Thf (RR GH VV)
Whm
Blm
Smn

We took it down to 60%. Ifrit co-tank lol
Wiped due to not enough Stun.

Then next day I tried this
Thf (SS RR GH)
Whm
Brd
Blm

Only took it down to 76%... lack of dmg.

For thf tanking in decent Eva set, he missed me 90% of the time.

Both time we wiped due to it's long range 30' para.... Blm didn't get to stun enough -ga 3 and 4.

Win after I got a few more ppl cominng to help.

For lowman, really reccomending stun x 2 ppl. to stun all his -ga.

2 DDs are good for co-tank, when hate reset.



Suggestion above is only for non-empry DDs, since Empry can do so much better dmg than us normal ppl

I've only fought it once, but we pulled it north a bit (still between the raptors and dragons), where there is a steep slope that's high enough to avoid wings--we had the dragon and tank at the bottom, and mages up top. That should help with paralyze on your mages.

Killing Empousa with a friend in Ule, we've proc'd grellow 4 times out of ~13 or 14 kills. On the grellow'd kills, we're not getting any Card of Ardor drops, and I was wondering if anyone else encountered this problem or if it's just horrendous luck. Thanks!

Bad luck, keep trying. Had yellow and 0 drops off same empousa (only had dread as well) out of nearly 2 dozen kills. Not guaranteed to drop either so you just gotta keep at it. Good side to it is the timed pop, so yea.

We had a thf for every one yeah, so many grellow with no card, never saw double card ever, and a couple grellow with 0 drops, was fucking hell but we finished :D 5/5 af3+2 on mnk~

WAT. I 3boxed it WAR WHM WHM just fine. Took like 5 minutes tops. It seems to get some sort of a damage boost each time it uses its 2 hour, so proc red and kill it before that happens.

I also killed it with NIN + WHM + BRD (dual boxed by WHM and died a lot cuz its Taru and after one death he was keep dieing from draw in aoe hehe) like I said before after it used many 2hr and was probably boosted to full. It was doing 1300-1500 hits and my Kannagi crits were doing maybe 200 dmg with ODD to him. I guess WHM I play with is just pro. Its definitely doable with good DD and 2 WHM like Massimo suggested especially if you avoid letting it to boost a lot with 2hrs.
