Straight tank and have whoever is tanking just turn while its absorbing melee damage, kiting is a bad idea.

It's absolutely braindead easy. Do what Fievel said and turn when it goes into physical aborb mode. I just wish the person who wrote that on wiki was reading this so i could tell them what a fucking retard they are. It's a punching bag. You got this!

It will amaze you just how evil retards can make that fight. I afk before one group i was in entered and when i came back and they started for me to not only find plds in the freakin fight but after several minutes of cure-bombing an entire alliance i check one of the dead piles of meat and see that they went fucking /war.
The wiki may make it sound like some sort of monster but that's because the average player is too stupid to handle it and it WILL turn into some psychotic bastard when left with them.

Did this quest recently and I got 2 Cirque Seal: Body from doing it out of 3 times. I dunno if it drops anything else though since I wasn't able to do many runs. It's interesting that you can technically get body seals and hand seals at the same time doing this quest.

Fixed the retarded wiki comment and added my take on the fight, based on the way we have always fought it. It really is retardedly easy, but then again, most average FFXI players are retarded.

Easily tanked by rdm/nin and dd/nin (we used a NIN). If spawns in magic mode, spam tier 1 nukes to feed it tp until it uses whip. It only has 2 TP moves (outside of its magic and haze), so feel free to feed it tp in order to force the switch.

Tank (or dd) can get tp on nearby crabs and ws the NM for triggers. Once triggred, just burn it down depending on what mode it is in

True, but you could bleed out more emnity than your voke is putting out if it pops in magic mode. The point remains, the mob is probably trioable, and the retarded wiki edit was making it seem impossible.

It's definitely trioable. We did it last night with MNK WHM BLM and a dualboxed RDM. The only remotely "bad" thing is if it pops in magic mode and since I was soloing Melo Melo on BLM for the pops, the popper has to tank it for a bit if you're using a melee tank. But, that's easily solved with mana wall and spamming tier 1s as mentioned above.

Finished Benevolence Lost and only got cruor; however, I have reason to believe that it is a seal quest though because it is repeatable and I got 400 on the first try and 200 and the second. The quest is so lame though because you have to trade Twinkle Powder to the Fay Pond and the first time I traded like 2 and I got the pixie to appear, but the second time I had to do it like 10 times. I got Atma of the Dark Blade from Atma Fabricant at NPC which is HP+ Superior Str+Major Damage Taken+Major from completing all of the quests. I wish I had time to find what seals drop though but doing shinryu fight now. btw, I have not done any dominion ops in grauberg and still got the atma.

... taken from Dvalinn page. Took the info to heart back at 85 and went into it expecting difficulty and turned out to be a joke aside from erase spam. The standard for something being "hard' on there is just way lower than standards here for sure, just gotta take things from there with a grain of salt regarding that.
