Did Benevolence Lost some more and I got Charis Seal: Hands. After the first time I did it, it always seemed to be 10 trades to the Fay Pond for the key item. Did five runs to make sure it wasn't like For Love of a Daughter quest in tahrongi and didn't get anything. I promptly left >.> On a side note, does anyone know what the ??? is for at Skyrend (far west) near Xibalba spawn? I only got one message and that was when I was doing the Ominous Skull quest. It said something about feeling death around you or something and then it didn't do anything. Now I don't get any message since I've done the quest.

How long did it take you to flag this quest? I've done four lv1/2? fame quests plus a bunch of repeats still can't get it.

Anyone know good spots for t2 VNM Gamayun?

I found it once near the pots and now that it upgraded to t3 after the first kill, I went and farmed another t2. With no hints from /resting and only Ap Radar to go off of, I'm having a really difficult time finding this VNM.

I found it once near the pots and now that it upgraded to t3 after the first kill, I went and farmed another t2. With no hints from /resting and only Ap Radar to go off of, I'm having a really difficult time finding this VNM.

I spent like 4 hours farming this guy for MNK body seals lol and nailed down how she pops. She will pop in the Amoebans area right by the maw about 10 to 15mins after death. Now you need to be quick and pop her before she makes her way up the waterfall to flux 4, then she will make her way up that waterfall (where zone boss ??? is I think) to flux 7. Finally she'll walk to where you found her at flux 6.

The Amoebans aggro around 21:00 so be careful. This is easily duo'd WHM + MNK but you'll want TH. I killed her twice with no drops... This goes for the one in Ule too. She pops @1 down the ramp and will make her way up the big mountain.

It also seems as if grellow doesn't affect how many seals she drops...The max I ever got from her was 2. However, grellow does affect the one in Ule.

No sorry it was 6 in the morning and might have sounded confusing lol, Shiva in Ule drops sam and a few others. And grellow will affect the seal drop rate

Gamayun is the only VNM that drops monk body seals, and in my experience even with grellow it will drop a max of two seals.

It pops in the Limules (E-12~13, usually 12). Every time. I'm not sure if the above guy just typed Amoebans instead, but meh. Either way, that's where it pops, but when it's been up for a while, it wanders far as fuck, so you'll have to conflux around for a bit until you find it. After first kill, the next ones will be easy as pie, granted you pop it pretty fast.

Wow, my THF friend hit TH12, grellowed many times. Max seals we got were two. I killed it maybe 20 times to get my 10 seals for monk. And yea the horseshoe crab guys, what ever mobs are two feet from the maw is where spawns. Maybe just our bad luck.

I have no idea if it can drop more than two, I never killed it for the seals. The guy above reports having gotten 4 though, so unless he's lying, you obviously can, and I don't see why this mob should be any different anyway.

Max seals per job isn't capped (e.g. 2 MNK max, but other seals can still drop), which is what I was responding to.

All 3 T2 Avatar VNM's aren't to bad to duo. I usually bring 4 people, 1 for each paper to speed things up. Biggest problem is when it 2hrs. It usually 2hrs 25% and below, rarely will it go off early.
