I took it for granted that Ivve was right.

Love the activity of dating, hate the pressure that comes with an actual date.
i accept the fact that since leroy cosigned me i am obviously very wrong; i apologize and will go crawl into a corner and die now
however i will better try to explain myself
it is probably my fault for choosing the word "meet" when i said that, as i meant it as more of a "i dont meet people in social situations" type deal, along with what demo was talking about about getting to know people over time at social type situations. its not like i never go anywhere at all and have no interaction with the outside world, its more i dont go anywhere that is a good place for actually getting to know people.
i feel like what i am saying made sense, i would have defended it sooner but i passed out a while ago because i ate food and i am an old man and we old men pass out after eating food
i am mad because i feel like my argument makes sense but leroy cosigned me so i am doomed
what i am trying to say is i do not meet people in the sense demo was talking about, which is why i am forced to date; because the option he suggested of getting to know someone over time without dating via social functions and trying to form a relationship that way is not an option
also i am not really mad because i can safeface by saying you are all retarded by actually debating something i said
someone who doesn't go on dates sounds very boring
but you admitted to going on dates though
why do you do this to yourself
nvm i don't care
i never said i was smart, and since i go on dates (not often but still do sometimes) i am qualified to say they suck
Wait, is it not a date if you're in a relationship with them? Like if you just want to go out with your girlfriend for dinner or w/e is that not a date?
Nah it's just a means to hoping she shuts the fuck up when you get home.
lmao this.
I think you have to both be at a certain point in your life for two people to "date" as a pre-relationship activity. It depends how you know the person, really- if you meet them at random, through a friend, in a bar, etc. it's not easy to get to know them without being like "hey, you wanna go out sometime", so you kinda have to date. If they already are your friend, you work or school with them, see them often for other reasons and have a chance to talk, get close, etc., I don't like the idea of pressure to "go on a date". I mean, don't you already know what the person's like?
Dating inside a relationship is mostly a function that keeps the women from complaining you never do anything special blahblahblah and you take her out to dinner and whatever and put up with her stupid whatevers and when you go home if she doesn't put out she better be quiet while you do your own things.
