I've come to realize a lot of people were freaked out about the moogle's wording when picking up your newfound storage solution for all the uncompleted things we have but I went the extra mile and found out the good news to confirm for everyone. (If I'm late in doing this and someone already posted then I apologize T_T)

I threw in a piece of Worthless artifact gear with Storage Slip 04, tried to drop it multiple times and the text comes up with "That request cannot be processed."

So rest your worries and be confident in the fact you can't get rid of your slips unless you have no gear being held.

I'm still confused as to how this works. It sounds like you trade the moogle a piece of equipment for a storage slip (say, slip 01, for example) that sits in your inventory. You haven't gained any inventory space.

Say you store another piece of equipment that falls under the slip 01 category, and get another slip 01 to hang onto. You still haven't gained any space, you just traded gear for slips.

Unless the slips stack or something, or one "Slip 01" allows you to retrieve multiple pieces of gear, I'm not understanding how this works.

You buy the slip. Then you trade the slip and up to 7 pieces of gear w/ it back to the moogle. He keeps the gear, you keep the slip. Can trade slip and more items with it. (only 7 at a time cause well u can only trade 8 items)

For example: The entire range of AF2 gear can be stored on just the one slip.

As stated in another thread. Hecatomb gear is not able to be stored.

And for getting gear back (I haven't been able to play at all, won't for weeks) you trade the slip and he gives you a list? Is there any quick-dump method or is it one at a time?

When you pull gear out, you trade the moogle the slip of the category of gear you want, and he'll pop up a list of what you've got stored in that category. You then keep clicking whichever pieces of gear you want to remove until you've gotten everything you want out, then click the "I'm done" (or whatever it's called) option. It's pretty quick, and if I remember correctly, the menu remembers where you were in the list when you pull something out, so you don't have to start from the top every time.
