assume the packers lose to the patriots in week 15, but beat the giants and bears in week 16-17.
assume the giants, as said, lose to the packers in week 16 and then beat the redskins in week 17.

in that scenario here, giants get first round bye if they beat the eagles in week 15, but miss the playoffs if they lose lol
