In regard to the remote:

My current monitor is exactly 24" and not mounted on a wall and my radeon 5870 doesn't have HDMI (I think) so I'll have to figure that one out

Game is a ton of fun so far. A few parts are annoying though. I hate when you are forced into a "facing Drake" perspective as he runs trying not to die. Its nice to know whats chasing me..its nicer to be able to see where i am going so i can avoid that wall .001 seconds ahead of me.

With all the foreshadowing they are doing, I can only assume Sully's gonna die by the end of the game. They seem to be making that painfully obvious.

I assumed he was going to die in every game so far, and so far he hasn't

I feel the same as well. In the syrian castle. The game seems so much less epic then 2

Only problem I have is the game seems to be glitchy compared to 2, and at the end of the Syrian castle and hope they start mixing it up a bit more been the same scenario each locale so far. Gameplay and story have still been great.
