i think his point is that in this case the stupid stuff, directing certain toys go to a different charity, is outweighed by the good stuff, as ultimately the stupid stuff, while stupid, doesn't directly hurt anyone.
I'm not sure who they are worried about offending. There's plenty other poverty-stricken people that need shit if some jackasses turn gifts away based on principle. Just one less family to worry about if someone wants to cry about Twilight. I don't think they have any obligations to tip-toe around someone's beliefs, do they?
Harry Potter and Twilight should be banned everywhere else too.
I think the point is that while they do good stuff, other organizations do good stuff without the bullshit, so why not patronize them instead?
and this isn't anywhere near the worst thing the SA does. they've tended to hold some staunchly anti-homosexual positions in the past, which is a much bigger concern in my opinion.
