I hope this game gets canned so maybe they won't release the next one when it is only 1/2 complete.

So they took Matsui off of XI (he was leading it up until just recently, look at the FFXI front page) and now he's handling XIV's battle system? Okay, that's interesting.
Not sure if I like that idea or not as the recent changes to XI have been just golden. Hopefully this means XIV will get much better and XI will keep being awesome as well, don't really want to see either game suffer at this point.
Also FUCK YOU Tanaka, all this time I thought it was Wada who set the agenda (release date) but Tanaka had full authority and didn't delay the release?! The hell is wrong with you man?!
I never expected this. I really like their open communication policy with this game, they really took more steps than they did with XI, and I'm really looking forward to see what they have for this game
(That being said, SE, seeing how you're making user-requested changes, I WANT A 2-FLOOR MOG HOUSE!)
So I guess it's finally alright to come back? After reading that it kind of renewed my confidence in them.
Nooooo, Sage sundi is also gone?
At least he know about us. How do we talk to Yoshida??
No.Dear FFXIV players,
Give us back our awesome director.
Signed,
FFXI players.
Love this news by the way. <3
When reading the email they sent out I heard the applause from FFXIV players around the world. Way to go SE, way to go. With your new determination I look forward to what the leading talent of FFXIV will accomplish.
This is the ace in the hole a company like SE has. It seems like the community as a whole is ready and willing to give them a second chance right off the bat.
No other company, other than Blizz, would have the money to do this or the community support. It's like everyone was standing around with bated breath to see if the head coach would actually be fired or not.
I came.
Wow. We all knew that SE wasnt going to let this game fail. Final Fantasy is a flagship of their company. I am happy to see that they are going to do what needs to be done to make this game great.
If they're going to make the updates monthly from now on, I dunno if it's a good thing if it breaks their development pace. I guess more than few structural changes needs to be made for that to work.
May be even every 2 weeks if they pace it like adjustments - content - adjustments - content as we've seen them do so far. Can't probably do it that way for content though.
I'd skeet on both of my floors with chocobo eggs.

All I can say is thank god lol
When ff11 is 100x more interesting and fresh after what 8 years than a new MMO....then yeah.
Hot damn, what news.
Going to start playing again. Fuck yeah good choices!
I have never smiled this much while reading FF-related updates/news. Good call SE.
P.S Tanaka is great and proly has a lot to contribute to the table, but maybe not as a producer. Though that's just an opinion from random internets man.
