Yes, i suppose we could always tone down our empathy and just ally with them based on what's common. Our intelligence. Every now and then we might try and push for some of our little pet issues when we feel really bad for some group or another, but it might be best to just ally with the others. We may often disagree with their means and often even their ends, but at least they are superior. Not like those intolerant and stupid plebes.
