Nothing comprehensive, but it would be nice if we did not have to complete trials in order.

Other ppl covered just about everything I can think of...

    - At this point though, can we lower Dynamis cost again to around 50~100k? I mean is it really necessary to pay 500k for Dyna now, when most of that shit is situational macro gear and Empyreans grossly outclass relics?

    - As for Limbus, the cost is fine but maybe add multiple drops to the end or something to speed up the rate of Omega & Ultima sets? It's kinda silly that you can still only do 2 Omegas a month.

    - How about access to Mog Storage from other cities/areas too? I never understood why the safe was the one option that is magically off-limits to your moogle when not in your own home.

    - Help text for food, please.

    - Some way of warping from 1 Abyssea zone to another while still inside abyssea, without losing your Visitant status. I don't give a crap if I have to re-apply buffs, but it sucks ass to farm up 300+ minutes of time and then you have an event or for whatever reason want/need to change zones and are stuck with 120 min again. It's not the end of the world, but it would be nice (and unless someone farms enough time to stay inside indefinitely and never logs out, I don't see a problem >_>)

    - Just want to reiterate ToM & Skill Up adjustments. I mean it's pretty fucking stupid (to me) that it took me almost 5 hours of Abyssea EXP to cap my Great Katana again using Soboro and spamming Tachi: Rana. I don't even want to think about what I'll have to do to recap evasion. The grinding is all just a bit excessive SE, and at this stage in XI's life do we really need it? I mean who the fuck has time to grind out 800+ weaponskills or 50~75 drops off a boss that requires killing several lesser NMs 1st? I've got a lot of free time on my hands so it's not a super huge issue for me but I can see it being a real nuisance for many.

Like, 35 would be enough? Or 500 WS instead of 800? Personally, there's only so much my sanity can take in one sitting lol.

I've wanted Olzhirya for a long time, but consider this.

Far East - Storyline involving Gessho, Tenzen, and Areuhat.
    Yes please do want.

It depends on your LS size, but you can frequently do Omega every week.
    1. Split your LS in to 4 teams, do all zones at once.
    2. When doing Omega, don't kill it straight off, spend 25 minutes farming pods. Can usually get one or two chips towards next Omega.

I'd like to see them substantially increase the amount of exp you get from mobs below level 75 in traditional parties or solo leveling. Might as well make it easy to get jobs up at this point. Just been thinking... I'd like to try some new jobs out for fun, but FOV feels like a turkish prison after getting used to Abyssea exp. Also, leeching makes me feel like a tool. An efficient tool, but a tool nonetheless. I want to play the fucking game, not stand in the same place doing nothing for hours on end. I know that some people don't mind it, and I have no problem with people doing it, but it just seems so strange to me that the best way to level a job is to buy your way into an abyssea party and hope the leader you paid off doesn't abandon ship, so you can literally stand there and do nothing for as long as possible. It definitely doesn't meet my definition of "fun" video gaming, whatever you make of it.

Edit: either that, or give us the option to use exp we are earning on other jobs. If you're not going to encourage people to learn their jobs at low levels by making it so inefficient that leeching blows it out of the water, at least give us the option to choose where to put our exp. All in all, it was a great year though! The game has been alot of fun this year, and the number of improvements have been almost unbelievable. They really knocked it out of the park in 2010.

I am not interested in more new content while there is still so much content that is not being used or was just abandoned all together. so I prefer a new expansion to be held off at least til the old zones and possible new players do not find ghost towns where exp camps used to be.

Synergy's Evolith system, does it have any real use anymore(ever)? please go back through it and rebuild it to make it something nice.
Remove the restriction of exit from chocobo circuit to only lead back to your own nation. Maybe make it so you must have completed aht urgan's missions or something to access that privilege.
I agree that outside abyssea exp is non-existent. raising the exp/kill, chain+%xp and the chain duration between kills sounds like a good way to increase interest in those parties, also if chain-able mobs would include ep and dc mobs so smaller parties could get chains at a decent pace should increase interest.
if the team wants to bring back interest in ENM BCNM KSNM etc try editing the drops to have stats that raise with our level like the CoP rings.
there are a couple spells I would like to see changed somewhat: stoneskin (increase the cap), blink (random is random, just change it so it has 100% proc and shadow # depends on enhancing skill, dunno like 4 max @ w/e is lv99's cap enhancing skill).
Adventuring fellow: slowly increase its cap level to eventual 90 and let them in abyssea.
I agree it would be amazing to just zone from one abyssea area to another without losing visitant status. in addition to that it would be nice to get a couple moogles in abyssea so we can change jobs, spend merits, and get equipment out of the storage slips without losing all our time in abyssea.
Increasing skillup rates and exp from (campaign, scrolls, battlefields) would be a welcomed addition.

and please create a way for us to view what we have in those storage slips. I don't want someone to be lotting up crap they already have in a storage slip because they forgot.

I loved seeing that interest was put into salvage, dynamis, einherjar, campaign, visions of abyssea, tp mechanics, sneak/invis duration and randomness, TH!, COR and NIN tools, instant RR/warp, sky pop items, and that they actually told us the real stats of the equipment they F'ed up for once. That shows me someone there actually wants to fix things that are messed up, and someone is taking an interest in making old content more enjoyable.

This. Synergy/Evoliths had potential (and the whole system is a little complex), but they screwed up with shitty augments (Hp+20 wut)

You can do 2 omegas per week with a small group.

NW, NE, and whatever the mimic zone is, are all stupidly easy to solo at 85+. The other zone might be soloable now, but even if not, is a very easy duo. Omega could be soloed at 85, would be very easy to duo, even with gunpod farming at 90. That's 4-5 people to farm, and 2 people for omega, for a total of 6-7 people to do 2 omegas per week. Accounting for chips from pods, you can realistic bump that up to 2.5-3 per week.

Something beyond Abyssea. It's like a sugar-rush. We've spent years living on a frugal diet of bread, water, and colibri parties, and then suddenly we get this, where people can level from 30 to cap within a day, where stats are capped, where we're basically playing in god-mode. Sure it's fun... for a while, but we all know it's not sustainable. I'm enjoying it for now, but I don't want this kind of over-poweredness to become common. I'm not sure what the dev team can do next, though I'm excited to find out what it will be.

Walk of Echoes. Argh. Please, the last update didn't really help, getting the coins you want is still a crapshoot and leeching is as common as ever. Just give us an ichor or other points based system for coins, or make them tradeable.

Another expansion should go without saying, though I don't mind another Abyssea-type one being spread out over downloadable installments, as long as it is of comparable size/content to a boxed one. With, of course, new zones rather than re-skins.

Overall though, I feel the last year saw a move away from working towards fights to actually doing them, with regard to endgame (VNM aside - horrid system). A move away from camped NMs to popped ones is something I like a lot; it feels like we've moved away from the claim being the main part of the fight. I'm also a big fan of "tier" systems with NMs, which I like a lot about Abyssea.

They could make nms with stats over 200-300, 1k+ atk/def, etc. They can give us easymode exp/easy nms, while having difficult hnms.

I always thought Tenzen was a boring fucking character. Areuhat and Gessho were neat though.

Olzhirya would be amazing, but I don't see it happening. SE knows they can get away with less and less, to the point of repainting old zones and adding zero story (maybe I'm crazy or in the minority, but I don't mind stories in games). Seriously, as much as I like abyssea, you can't argue it took as much effort to make as ToAU or hell, even WotG.

Anyway, I wouldn't be upset at a shitty story, as long as we got new zones and new mobs. Fucking resized and recolored mobs in abyssea annoy me. Clionids and limules are lame excuses for mobs, too. They just look fucking pathetic.

    - I want access to Tavnazia... the real, ruined Tavnazia. Make it a zone overrun with Behemoths, Orcs, Fomor and other surprises. Half of it could be a "ghost town", half could be a beastmen stronghold.

    - By some method, keep Atma in the game beyond these three addons. Not saying we need to have it everywhere, but I'd be sad to see it go when the focus of the game game shifts from Abyssea.

    - I want a 3-4 room mog house. Rank 10 reward? Level 99 reward? Buyable with gil? I don't care... maybe give us a choice of styles. Heroic adventures can live in a penthouse with a lovely view of the surrounding areas.

    - New Missions - but not dragged out too long.

    - Merits able to be converted into combat/magic skills (not raising the cap, raising your current level towards the cap). I'd do it for the guard skill alone.

    - I like the "3 for 1" seal exchange NPC idea. "1 for 1" would be nice, but it might be too easy.

    - Make certain "Ku-powers" full time. You know the Ease of Exploration Moogle that can warp you to and from any start nation? He should always be available.

    - I'm a sucker for old school Final Fantasy references. I was thrilled when I saw the T3 VNM in Uleguerand was Ogopogo. Next up, I demand Doomgaze. Also, rename all "Ochu" to Morbol, and make those Rasselflower things "Ochu".

    - Giant Cactuar please (if there isn't one in Abyssea - Altep, change that immediately).

    - Increase frequency of certain weather patterns (esp. fire). Maybe make it possible for there to be two different kinds of weather at once (because it can still be hot while it's raining... and it can rain while it's thundering out?)

While I agree on Tenzen himself being dull, I find the idea of a land being overwhelmed by Emptiness pretty cool, and hope we get to learn more about it before the servers go kaput.

If I'm not mistaken there are Rafflesia-like mobs in one of the SNES FFs. Also, weren't the Morbols called Ochu in the original FF?

And i love seeing the little itty bitty cute mandys and faffys, and seeing the big ass NM's. I think the resizing is a nice novelty and i absolutely love it.

fix the way I pick atmas. Is it too much to ask that the menu is 2 inches tall when most of us have like 40+ atmas , when we're only looking for 3....

    Indeed, this.

I'd love to see SE pull an addition of a whole bunch of killer NMs that would almost put AV to shame. Its not like we're masochists, but just that a real challenge would actually be fun. Abyssea with 3 Lunar Abyssite makes it so much more manageable. I'd imagine if Atma didn't exist we wouldn't be saying how easy it is now though.

I think something like a monster arena would be pretty cool. They could always incorporate a new structure of NMs into old zones but somehow involve existing mobs.
    What I have in mind:
(eg. kill a certain type of mob to reach a quota (like in FoV, but maybe not necessary exp giving mobs / quota scales according to mob level) for a trigger item reward. mob type is random each day, but once you accept it, thats your quota to keep for that round
Trigger item pops an NM - NM may drop items, but also trophy.
Trophy can be redeemed for points. Points can be spent on items (including stuff like exp scrolls) or used to buy higher tier triggers.
Higher tier trophies can earn more points, and so on.
However, trading a combination of trophies to NPC will yield a new trig (not buyable).. and then you can have all sorts of mix and match combinations before hitting the top tier, but in a way that if you know the structure well enough you can avoid various paths of NMs.

I see it as FoV meets ZNM meets VNM meets Magian. Although the whole tier system will be a little messy, it should be able to give people enough motivation to do each NM for differing reasons.
Something like that lol.. It'd be nice to have it so each mob family has its own supermonster like in FFX's monster arena. I'm probably fantasize-raving at this point, dont mind me.
