When the details for FFXIV's payment system came out, I was hoping to see FFXI eventually might accept using Crysta points as payment. I'd still like to see that happen.

What do I want to see? Robbers to stop aggroing.
Those little buggers will still be chasing us at 99!
Like others have mentioned, all I really want is for SE to lower the alexandrite for mythic. Maybe 15,000 is a more reasonable amount considering the tons of other tasks you need to do, relic only requires 17k and has far less stuff involved. 30,000 is just an obscene amount of alex :s
Lowering the required people to enter salvage was a good first step, and I'm really happy with that. Maybe make alex drop from all mobs in salvage now?
That! Make Empry gears +3 into that form please!
I am tired to carry multiple gears for jobs. For instance, cor hat af for quick draw, relic for rolls, Tp hat, ws hat, Empry hat for new roll?!
Why not just make use of your new Synergy System, combined these into 1 piece with option to pick on which stats to add into the AF3+3.
Also ... I like the Ebon gears idea. Coloring wise.
Please reuse this to AF3, but more color choices for us to customize them into a color we like and happy to wear it.
I'm sure if this is applied next years. Many events are to be revived
With new adds or new exp box!
Also limit the entrance to abyssea from 30 to 70 please?!
This is offensive comment...(apologies)
I find that there are many ppl out there level from low level to 85 on jobs, but then they know nothing about their jobs or even knowing what to coordinate to the party or ally when it comes to NMs.
That is really suck to have so many 85 or 90 but sucks at what they need to do...but "oh! Look ! I made xxx dmg!" and no team work. It is sad...
I enjoyed in event that people play their job/ role right, like back to years ago. Isn't this is what a MMORPG should be?
Abyssea created lots of lvl 90 jobs but they do shit
Don't take it wrong. I still like what are in Abyssea areas we can do lowman, groups, ally exp and etc. Just that I have unfortunately met lots of those kind of players in game lately or even seeing some good players are "evolving" into that form.... ; ;
That's nothing new. Bads will always be bads whether they abyssea leech, summon burn, or actually xp party all the way. It's not an offensive comment, it's a retarded one.
This ^.
Stupid people are stupid and no amount of nice gear or experience on jobs will ever, ever make them better. There is still a massive gap between the capabilities of a great player, a good player, and a bad player, no matter how accessible AF3+2 is. Sure, it's a lot harder to identify a player's skill/experience at a glance based on what they're wearing these days, but 5 minutes together with someone will generally tell you everything you need to know. I definitely love being able to get everything I need to done with a handful of great players versus the alliance of good to mediocre to plain bad players most people wanted/needed for things in the past.
Meh, if you're consolidating AF, keep Salvage shit out of it. Just +1'ing the old stuff can be a chore in itself given Limbus and Dynamis involvement.
1. content out of abyssea worthwhile. SE has 9 zones right now that get used, and the entire myriad of other zones is used for ToM...and what else? Seems like a waste of this huge world. Sorry, but I miss a lot of the stuff we used to do and the places we did it. Timesinks? Nope don't miss those. Something worthwhile to do in Movapolis? I'd shit a brick.
2. Please. give us a reason to do skillchains. As a mage I miss this coordination so much. The game is getting mindless. Give me a mob that takes 1dmg from all attacks/spells that aren't skillchain damage and magic bursts. Whatever it takes. TP burning everything is such a waste of some great systems SE put in place at the beginning.
3. stackable emp. weapon items. I can see it now.....48 sobek skins and 4 briareus helms. Yay.
4. Save crafting. Not synergy. Crafting. Insert a "master crafter" merit point system if you will. After you get a craft to 100, all crafts you get to 60 will earn you an additional 2 skill points to put into any craft you have. Give some incentive for the people who level all their subs to 60 just because they like blue numbers and crafting is fun. Would also allow new craftable items because of varying subjob levels depending on a crafter's preference.
5. Don't let Empyrean Armor be the be all, end all, for every job and every slot. It isn't this way now with Artifact and Relic Armor. Make some of the crafted/synergized/NM drop/etc armors be better. Hate the system or not, having these things that are sellable keeps a healthy economy going, rather than this stagnant one we have now where only a few pieces of gear sell on the AH, which raises their prices...this prohibits those without existing gil or high-end gil sources to get the items/armor they need.
....Really, did you want your SAM artifact body to be better than a hauby+1? Or was the fact that certain crafted/NM drop armors and weapons were the pinnacles of their slots a good thing?
6. Restrict access to abyssea to a higher level. This forces more low level partying, which I still believe is essential for people to learn to play their jobs correctly. I have a great idea of how to play melee jobs at endgame...I have little experience leveling them which is where I'd really cut my teeth. Ergo..I'd suck. Also, this keeps the economy vibrant by gear turnover by players leveling who actually have to pay attention to gear at all stages. Right now, who the hell cares about any gear except for 75+ gear? There's absolutely no need to.
Harass me for focusing on the Economy, and say its all because I'm a crafter looking to make a buck, but I firmly believe that without a healthy economy and all rare/ex gear, we lose a great deal from this game (oh, and I'm making more now since abyssea came out than I was prior from crafting, these are overall comments on the economy not personal bitching). Having options where players have a non-financial means to get high quality pieces is great, but the interaction and flow that a monetary economy provides is a GOOD thing.
Still reading through the topic, but here's something I'd like to see added:
Add exp/reward chests to Dynamis/Limbus.
I know exp isn't a huge deal anymore, but I always thought that at certain key points in Dynamis, it'd be nice to pop open a chest and get a bit of XP for the progress so far, along with some extra currency (now that relic is super easy to come by).
You could just add XP to the Limbus chests that are already there when you grab items, or for the final chest in the zone.
It could be based on the # of mobs killed, or the time taken to clear the zone. Who knows, I just always thought it'd be a nice way of keeping jobs capped if they happen to die. Though dying shouldn't happen much in Limbus anymore.
Would reducing the time restraint for these events be a benefit? Would changing it to a situation where you can just hop in with a pick up group and get stuff done be good?
With the updated drop rate and ability to store Relic, I find myself trying to gather up as much as I can. The only thing kind of slowing me down is the fact I can only enter 2 times a week.
Oh and Hell yes, to almost all of the PLD tweaks mentioned. We're outclassed as Tanks at the moment. We need something, in particular, in abyssea to make us worth using. Maybe a nice Enmity + Atma or something.
Nyzul weapons are a 100% drop for the job of runic disk holder on floor 100, if I remember that correctly. I wish this system was implemented in other places. I appreciate that randomness is what keeps people playing, but I think they could introduce this in some fashion to encourage people to play older endgame content.
The only incentive to help strangers with things you don't personally need is kindness, and we've seen how common that is. A while back they added XP rewards for helping out with missions for CoP, etc. But they're laughable now. You can get 2000xp for helping with the last fight in CoP, once per day. Awesome.
Why not identify all the mission bottlenecks people get stuck and need help on, and add some sort of reward system that would actually encourage people to help? Coupons for 1 AF seal of your choice? Atmas? Vouchers that give you X credits for kills on your current Magian trial? Alex/dyna coinpurses? 10k EXP scrolls for lowbie jobs? Something?
It sounds so simple, but they should look at the places where people need help, and then look at what would encourage people to actually help those who are stuck. I'm not suggesting they make the Spook drops Ridills, but they could certainly figure out a way to narrow the gap between the haves and have nots.
What do I want to see? People not being able to leech in WoE. Lock the shit out like Dynamis and get rid of these faggots who show up to lot coins/pouches.
Oh, and how about some new status icons?
I don't like the fact that Enlight, Defender, and Phalanx all have the same icon when I have them up.
I'd like to see the auto-translator updated to include terms relevant to WoE, Abyssea, Magians, and new spells/JAs/Traits.
while everyone else has said its too easy to get the best items, you went the other way to say please make my noob char have all good gear (cause that will make me a better player). as far as bottlenecks in missions, are there any? if it couldn't be solo/duo at 75, it can at 90. it would be nice to get some sort of credit for trials/coins/alex but please don't be the guy that begged for several nerff's to cop misions because it was too hard. it wasn't that hard, and it was fun to actually have something difficult.
