I agree with you BK. I just think Bioware themselves overhyped how "different" the endings would be to the point that it was like when a friend overhypes a movie to you and it is disappointing when you see it. They set the expectations too high and didn't quite get there. I enjoyed the game and thought the end was "ok"...but I was expecting amazing and was a little let down after. The levels that some of the fanboys are complaining are a little asinine though, which shouldn't be surprising considering fan is short for fanatic. I think anytime a company takes something that really resonates with a small group of fans, then opens it up to a much wider audience, those first fans feel left out or sometimes betrayed.
Its the obligatory bad guy logic, or more likely, they see it as the inevitable.
In my opinion:

Side note: Playing this game and then going outside to look up at the stars makes me feel incredibly small. /sagan

The geth really do seem to be the perfect synthetics though.
They have no innate desire to do harm to other creatures
I haven't followed the lore very closely, but what about that one semi-organic geth you're lead around during the qurian arc? At the end he was like, "aha! and now the geth will destroy the qurians!" when he finished uploading the reaper stuff.
Initially I let him do it because the geth are fucking awesome, then I restarted and changed by decision because I felt lied to![]()
I agree with this. The Geth only reacted to the Quarians attempts to destroy them. When they could have wiped them out, the Geth let them retreat. The geth really do seem to be the perfect synthetics though.

I mass effect 2'd on xbox and got 3 for PC so I never imported. My game never knew legion existed
Couldn't figure out how to rename game saves from websites correctly for mass effect 3 to read, either
Edit: hold up
does that mean you managed to get the quarians and the geth to join you? Or is it that just the geth joined and the qurians were all mad at you and stuff and didn't help like the solarians in the genophage stuff if you save the krogans. I want to do that in my next playthrough.. is it reliant on your paragon rating? pretty sure I had over 75% at the time and I think I did almost every extra quest I had active at the time.
I wanna do this on my next playthrough
dunno why the hell anyone would be 100+ pages into this thread without knowing the ending yet, but spoiler'd anyway
