But the combat in ME1 is so bad compared to 2 and especially 3

i'm not sure, i'm too busy smashing face with my Vanguard, just started it, omg is vanguard broken lol, I did a bronze match and without firing a single bullet I got 70,000 XD

Hi Everyone.

We want to thank you all for making Operation Goliath so successful. We had almost 3 million Brutes killed and many fans making it all the way to extraction at the end of the Silver challenge. Your awarded Victory packs for killing Brutes and Commendation packs for those who reached extraction on Silver (or better) will be on the way to you soon. We had underestimated how many of you would be successful in this challenge, so it will take a little longer to get the Commendation Packs to you. They will start to be activated at 5pm PST and will have all been activated by 9pm PST.

To get your rewards, you will need to restart Mass Effect 3 and then re-enter multiplayer. Once you have, visit the store and get your free pack or packs.

Did they think 1 person getting extracted on silver would be that hard?

For ME1, put it on casual, go as Adept, and just blow shit up with biotics the whole way through. Its what I did leading up to the ME3 release for one more Shepard to play with.

Also, the ME3 Datapad just trolled me so goddamned hard. After purchasing all the upgrades possible, it took me to another upgrade menu where the first unlock costs 500,000 credits. Seeing as how I get about 5,700 credits every 5 1/2 hours (if I were to remember to check it exactly when the timer is up each time), it looks like its going to take much, much longer to max it out.

Probably not, I imagine they probably underestimated how many people would participate, since I'm sure there's a good chunk of non-regular MP players that logged on just to kill a couple brutes.

Hardly anyone's received their Commendation packs despite meeting requirements so far. Victory pack is pretty garbage too.

If you didn't have upload feedback data turned on (its on by default, options > online) then your stats weren't tracked and you didn't receive credit for a silver clear; no comm pack in that case. Everybody gets the victory pack though, even if you weren't online at all this weekend.

As it was stated before, Vanguard fucking destroys on Bronze. Silver and Gold are a completely different story. I get rocked if I make any mistakes on Silver with my Drell Vanguard.

The hurricane is the most unruly gun in the game.

Insanely powerful for an SMG but it is woefully inaccurate

I messed with that and the pistol in single player a bit before I picked up claymore. I'm really hurting for a half-decent assault rifle in MP

Geth can be a huge pain on gold, unless (like someone mentioned earlier) you're packing a couple Quarians, then they're just a joke. Without them though, I think I'd rather deal with Cerberus. There are some maps where hunters and their increased move speed while cloaked is just a huge pain regardless of composition though, always startles me when one of them comes out of nowhere and uncloaks in my face.
