honestly I think even the endings as they were wouldn't have been so bad if we at least got to see stuff like jacob and his chick giving each other final goodbyes, same with miranda & co., etc etc. It was really just the random nature of storylines ending and the instantaneous factor of the ending that bothered me

I honestly thought the whole time that the "catalyst" was going to end up being shepard, and he'd have to sacrifice himself to save everyone else, and his single minded determination to stop the reapers would "direct" the crucible to destroy just the reapers. I was ok with that, I wanted all the shit to be for a purpose but I think I could even live with everyone being fucked in the end if I at least got to see a bunch of people accepting their fates and being happy in their final moments.

And you should listen to me because while I'm not a game dev, I did stay in a holiday inn express last night.

Thanks to whom ever posted that vanguard set up, it made that class even more fun to play. Also had some one change to their vanguard to "show you how to play this class". Didn't work and he bailed the game after it was over. Good times.

With Reaper forces beaten back, relief efforts are under way in the newly-taken territory.

During this period, Reaper enemies will be severely depleted and there will be far fewer brutes than usual.

All players will get +25% experience over the weekend as Citadel Allied Command reviews the lessons of Operation Goliath and uses them to train new forces.

Looking ahead: Admiral Hackett has put out the call for advanced combatants among the N7 squads. These troops are being marshaled for an upcoming elite operation. Experience under fire leads to promotions….

Last weekend the community joined together to push back the reapers in Operation Goliath. With over 3 million brutes killed, their numbers have been decimated. Expect to encounter far fewer this weekend.

As a reward for that outstanding performance, join your friends online between 5 PM PST Friday, March 23 and 5 AM PST Monday, March 26, to reap the rewards of last weekend’s successful offensive with a 25% XP bonus.
