I love how someone four posts into the thread calls ME3's ending as an ending that would piss him/her off and yet Bioware goes ahead an does it.
Yeah maxing Overload (with both chain upgrades and incapacitate) is priority one. One point in Combat Drone just so you can easily turn Guardians and whatever you like with the rest.
Chain Overload? I guess... I'll give it a try tonight on my male Human Engineer. I'm just concerned that, despite it being an AOE Neural Shock, it won't kill off shields in one blast like Shield&Barrier Damage does.
I do like how my Combat Drone is set up. Rockets are a good indicator of where stragglers are before the game points them out and racks up tons of assists for me during a game since I get a rocket on almost every enemy.
Knocks down first person you hit, stuns the second two. First hit does good damage and the other 2 take an eh amount, but it's well worth it imo. Racks in the points too if you give a shit about scorewhoring.
yea chain overload is nice, keeps groups of enemies busy for a bit, like an engineer version of stasis bubble
Nah, not really. I'm more concerned about being useful to overall team function. I was playing with an infiltrator the other night and we had an Overload > Headshot thing going really well and I didn't want to lose that ability on the off chance I get someone who doesn't have their head screwed on backwards.
PS3 requires completely different coding for every single stupid thing. PC and Xbox use the same code. Copy, paste, bam done. So unless they get a separate team to do the PS3 stuff, or space the weekend events out more, I wouldn't expect anything significant on the weekend fronts.
i think it to do with getting gameplay stats from playersk, PS3/sony can't or doesn't want to do this
What's considered "Common items"? When do I stop with the recruit pack spamming?
I said it earlier in the thread, but I'm willing to bet that it has something to do with Origin being used to track the stats, and it being too intrusive of a program/process to have running in the back of Sony's machines.
And yeah, other games have had temporary events on the PSN, so it's not a Sony across the board thing. I'm sure it'll get straightened out sooner or later though.
Posting two in a row but w/e.

Long story short, recruit packs will take all your basic guns to X, and have a 10% chance at uncommon unlocks. Once you've hit X on all of those guns, you're probably better off stepping up to the next pack, since you'll just keep getting flooded with class EXP cards for human classes.

EDIT: Dammit, got beaten.
How to get Credits.
1.Do a bronze challenge.
2.Make it to wave 10.
3.Hope wave 10 was either kill targets or disable 4 devices.
4.Have everyone die without completing any of the challenge.
5.Back in lobby change to Gold.
6.At the very beginning of the Gold Challenge have the Leader quit the match.
7.Immediately re-invite the leader.
8.When the game starts again you are magically in Wave 10.
9.Complete the kill targets or disable devices.
10.Reward of 45,000 credits.
11.Everyone die.
12.Start another round of gold and repeat steps 6-11 for 45,000 credits every 8 minutes.
I dunno if it works on anything other than Xbox.
Also like any exploit it may lead to you getting banned. But its was fun having 1mil credits.
