Err, sorry. Was talking for Human/Turian Sentinel. Yeah. Damage Protection all the way for Krogan.

I still don't have a commendation pack and I promoted 6 times over the weekend <_<
Was your data capture turned on?
When I was playing as Krogan Sentinel I almost never shot my weapon. I was rushing in and meleeing shit the entire time. When you're one shotting Phantoms on Bronze with a melee attack there's no need to do anything else. Silver and Gold you need to be a bit more smart and pick your spots to rush in. It's really easy to get overwhelmed.I'm very interested in playing Krogan Sentinel and just making a straight up tank version. I want better guns before I go that route though and of course I need to unlock the class first but I feel it'll be damn fun.
Yeah, I'm not the type to just stick to Bronze though... so yeah.
I definitely have got to get better weapons man. Hopefully a good shotty for one. I also want to user a sniper but I straight out suck with those... of course I won't get better if I don't practice but man I hate using them.
If you can get hold of a Widow it's a great way to sort of ease in to sniping. Don't carry a second weapon with it and your cloak cooldown will almost perfectly match your reload speed. With maxed cloak damage + weapon damage from passives you can one shot most things even with body shots on Silver, your aim will improve in no time once you start rocking that. On my human Infiltrator I did that and maxed Sticky Grenades, with radius and the proximity mine upgrade they're really good.
I hate shotguns, but the only time I use them is the Krogan Sentinel. When you're that close it's almost impossible to miss. I use the Claymore/Geth Plasma Shotgun/M-11 Wraith. Claymore is brutal up close, but the 1 round at a time firing can lead to bad things happening. So most of the time I'm using the Plasma since it has multiple shots and you can charge it for one powerful shot.
It is almost always level 20 human engineers / adepts running silvers with a friend; "YOU HAVE NO COOLDOWN, DON'T PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT POWERS IN THIS GAME?"
then I headshot an entire wave by myself, kill tier 1's through cover (hai widow), and listen to host rage when I come in second. Almost as satisfying as the 98k point game last night (granted, that was on Drell Adept)
Whats a good class to start trying gold on? I'm pretty fond of Drell Adept w/ pistol(no carni yet) and Salarian Engineer (been using pistol but experimenting) atm.
Sounds interesting. Thanks for the answers.
Yep, decoy makes you MVP in gold.
Any salarian is most popular. Otherwise, infiltrator, engi or AA.
Also, turian sentinel is usually played like a gimped human engineer. Spam overload forever. The Krogan gets a pass on loading up heavy weapons because he melees and tosses cd-free grenades while having a shield up and monstrous health.
Let me check my visibility settings. I'm definitely Xanthe81 on PC Origin.
Also, just scored Salarian Infiltrator and Drell Adept from a single Premium Spectre Pack.
I really dislike Quarian Engineer... my favorite so far is that vanilla human but Sal Eng is boss mode for team support (interestingly enough it is like the 2nd thing I unlocked lol). Just not a role that I find particularly fun.
Anyone looking for some matches on Xbox give me an add, jarebears84. I am in the eastern time zone and usually play anywhere from 8pm to 1am.
I play my Quarian Engineer strictly as a support role. Drop a turret as an early warning system/protect the flank. Toss out Cryoblasts to freeze/slow down incoming waves for your team to pick off. Chuck out a few Incinerates to score some kills of your own. I generally end up with over 50k points just from doing that.I really dislike Quarian Engineer... my favorite so far is that vanilla human but Sal Eng is boss mode for team support (interestingly enough it is like the 2nd thing I unlocked lol). Anoat I might be on tonight after 11pm. Badumshaloooop is tag.
Drell Adept is a great class. Area Reave and Area Pull you wreak havoc all over the map. With the Drell races make sure you always dodge in and out of cover your dodge grants you a 50% damage reduction, top with Reave-if you max out damage protection of 40%-(which is fully upgraded tech armor) You`re very fast and a durable character and Reave has ridiculous DoT.
Oh and if the Reave sound glitch isn`t fixed, cast pull two times and the sound goes away.
