I agree. Drell Adept is an offensive powerhouse if used right. I love mine.

Area reave - Cluster Grenade.
That's basically it for mobs weaker than a Brute.
I love grenades, but cluster G is just bjeujueler
So I had saved at the point of no return about a week and just got round to finishing now.
Can't believe I fucking stayed up for that.
Yeah that's my issue with Drell. Maybe I just suck too much to play them.
No it's not just you. You have to be careful as a Drell. You get your shit owned right quick if you're running around out in the open.
Why you gotta call me out on my shitty gaming dawg?
Exactly - for other adepts, you have Singularity or Stasis. A quick, easily deployable crowd control spell, for when you or someone else walks around a corner and sees a Rocket Trooper.
But for DA, all you have to protect you is Reave's buff. You literally have to Biotic combo yourself through trouble situations, or reave and run. So I maxed Reave and Cluster grenade - if there's a pyro around the corner you reave, then aim at a wall, and CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK! Whether there's one enemy or ten enemies, you can bet there will be alot of dead bodies flying around by the time you're done.
Don't forget - Cluster Grenades detonate Biotic Combos. DA is good on his own, but add an Asari Adept... awwww my gawd Stasis Bubble Explosions everywhere. The trouble is keeping yourself supplied with Nades on Gold - Push is reliable, and you can fling them fast.
As for a gun take something that doesn't weigh much and lets you support. Avenger X makes a decent Rifle, though I prefer Phalanx over Carnifex (my carn is still low, so) for sidearms. SCorpion land mines can be awesome, though. Like a cast-able bullet.
Aw I didn't get either of my packs yet![]()
Premium Spectre packs so far
#1 Geth pulse rifle I/Asari Adept EXP
#2 Widow II/Carnifex II
#3 Quarian Engi EXP/Widow III
#4 Geth pulse rifle II/Carnifex III
Yup, game loves me. #5 is expected to be more asari EXP and that javelin III upgrade I need so badly....
unlocked Krogan sentinel in a premium spectre pack, my body was not ready, spent the whole next match just meleeing / watching phantoms go bouncing off walls
Yeah, it's definitely worth playing through the first 2 and 99.99% of the 3rd.
@ the bolded, the quickest possible playthrough of ME2 will leave shepard dead and render the save file unusable for 3 heh
Spoiler: show
Just spam the 5k pack until you get all that stuff to X. Avenger is good with adrenaline rush or the turian thing, mantis is good for anything you'd snipe, shuriken is just a fucking beast weapon period, and I don't even remember which pistol it is but umm it's light I think >.>
Once you've got all those you've at least got something functional for golds until you get good stuff, and you'll be tearing shit up on bronze and silver.
Also remember your score doesn't matter much at all, they're all combined at the end anyway, so if you do shit and someone else dominates you both get awesome exp.
What's amazing is just how much will get 1 shot by your plain old normal melee hits once you've got all your buffs stacked up.
I was pretty much giddy with delight after I got the hang of it.unlocked Krogan sentinel in a premium spectre pack, my body was not ready, spent the whole next match just meleeing / watching phantoms go bouncing off walls
This. A thousand times over, this. What's amazing is just how much will get 1 shot by your plain old normal melee hits once you've got all your buffs stacked up.
Finally got the Black widow tonight. Its pretty much awesome.
Maybe one day i will get a widow
I have Choke V already. What is this "Shotgun Sniping" you talk about?![]()

EA this morning announced Mass Effect 3's "Extended Cut" DLC, which adds to the game's ending and will arrive for free at some point this summer. According to the publisher, the content will add "additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes," which will apparently offer fans "further clarity to the ending of Mass Effect 3" and "deeper insights into how their personal journey concludes."
The additional content comes as a response to a group of fans who felt the third game ended in an unsatisfactory manner. That outcry apparently had a serious effect at BioWare internally, as project lead Casey Hudson says the team has, "reprioritized [its] post-launch development efforts to provide the fans who want more closure with even more context and clarity to the ending of the game, in a way that will feel more personalized for each player."
No specific information is given about what said content will be, but we sure hope it means we won't see other DLC packs delayed or scrapped as a result. Studio co-founder Ray Muzyka notes,"With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team's artistic vision for the end of this story arc."
Extended Cut will arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC "this summer."
