I want to see what the writers and artists would do given an extra three months to flesh out just the ending. Gratuitous Space Battle anyone?

This, the entire Star Child scene completely shits on the story (and plotlines built up in the previous games) for me as well. An epilogue is good, but it only fixes half of the problem.

Depends on how well the DLC fleshes out the ending. The star child itself isn't a terrible idea. Just how it was executed.

I agree with Qbert. This should have been included from the get go. Additionally they aren't changing the endings. They are adding more content so that there's more closure. I don't think you're going to see anything other than A, B, and C still.

It is surprising that it's free. But if they actually charged for it, that would cause even more of an outcry and drag their name further through the mud. This does nothing to restore my faith in Bioware and it amazes me at how easily swayed some of you are by this. This is like a kid being forced to say he's sorry for getting caught doing something wrong.

Duh? The ending is rushed and poorly executed, there's no evidence of your exploits or choices and the whole ending is disconnected from the rest of the story. So... having said that, anything that gives us more is a good thing. A good free thing. They don't have to change the ending, they just need to do it a lot better.

My point is that the people who seem to think this is mystically going to make a happy ending are going to remain disappointed.

We'll see about that. It just needs to be more satisfying, a solid conclusion at the very least that wraps shit up. An epilogue for this type of game seems standard, dunno how they missed that out at the very least. The ending in general could be better for a lot of reasons, but since I know we won't get anything different, they might as well make it better.

Is the Saber any good? I haven't tried it yet but reading about it makes it sound like a turd. I got the Saber II last night *fml*, so I was thinking maybe I should bust out a Soldier or something with it.
