So Leviathan is the Kohr-Ah, and normal Reapers are the Kzer-Za.

lmfao"he lost his reaper memory when he was in a reaper car crash".
Frankly still wish they hadn't even come up with the crucible. Wouldn't an all out battle with every ship decked out in Thanix Cannons been more satisfying? Meanwhile Shepherd boards Harbinger and fights off bouts of indoctrination as he makes his way to the core and the final showdown with the Illusive Man as he merges his conciousness with Harbinger. High readyness causes Harbinger to take damage from outside forces and interrupts the Illusive man's plans. Win. Low readyness shepherd has to sacrifice himself and the fleet barely ekes out a victory resulting in a winnable but protracted conflict with the Reapers. Ending leaves plenty of room for closure and preserves the Reapers as secondary antagonists in later games. Also allows for the consequences of losing other civilizations to the reapers in the aftermath. AND you fucking see what the fuck the Quarians look like...fuck. May be a little less daring of an ending, but if you're going to have cliche, it might as well be good cliche.
Whoa there son. We can't have that kind of rational thinking here. You best head on to another thread.
Crucible is mandatory. Gotta have the Sa-Matra.
Yeah, I wasn't completely down with the idea of a magic button like the Crucible (especially since when you play the game from start to finish it feels like you build it in ~a month) from the start, but I figured it would work out okay... I figured wrong.
Knowing how the game ends, and accepting it for what it is, i really can't see myself shelling out any more cash for DLC. I just can't muster the interest anymore. We get what? Trivial plot, a new weapon maybe and some war assests? Meh
Except it's free.
Edit: Extended cut is free. The speculated DLC probably won't be.
Yeah he means the DLC where you get to play more.
On the contrary I'm excited for it because ME3 ending aside, the gameplay was fantastic and a new mission should be fun. Even if just for a couple hours.

I didn't know that the stargazer dialogue changes if you picked the refusal ending.
edit: i also didn't realize you get new dialogue options with the catalyst until i played through myself.
Yeah, I actually enjoy the catalyst now. I mean he's no Vigil or Sovereign dialogue, but he's now something to look forward to. I loved hearing what he had to say.
Spoiler: show
He didn't really provide much information but he did reveal quite plainly that.

I'll give credit that the extended cut is an improvement at least, although it shoots the Indoctrination theory all full of holes. But I still can't bring myself to say the endings are good or even okay. The God Child catalyst has always been the problem, shows up at the very end feels like an asspull no matter how much they try to fluff it up. It wasn't edgy or clever when the Matrix did it either, it was just dumb and felt awkward.
Wouldn't it have been more satisfying to have Shepdard just active the Crucible and it's effectiveness as a weapon determined on how much you built it up and how many engineer and scientists you recruited and the rest of the battle played out according to your war assets? Perhaps if you did well enough the Normaday is able to break though to Shepard and too poorly Harbinger is able to fight his way to the Crucible and finishes you personally.
I know wishing it's so is a waste but is it so wrong to go into the ending expecting at least that much given that the series up to that point was amazing? I mean in the suicide mission, you didn't end up in a room with the Collector general and given a few options on how you want the game to end, but ending ranging from everyone died to making it though without losing anyone depending on how much you built up your ship and earned the loyalties of your crew.
