Unlocked the N7 Vanguard finally. How did you guys spec it? Phase Disruptor any good?

Phase Disrupter is really tricky. Its nearly instant but it doesn't lock on enemies. So its very easy to miss. And when you miss you're out 50% of your shields. Best bet is to use it on the ground next to an enemy.

I don't ever use it. I -think- someone on this board said that it is actually nice to use in conjunction with a sniper rifle though. Sight someone up and then let it rip. Good to use from range because you're less likely to be killed when your shield is down. I never tried this method out though. I typically never use the N7 Slayer anymore because other classes typically work much better for me.

I didnt think much of disruptor and havent unlocked it since promoting again. I used to just spam slash all the time, not really played the kit since slashes were nerfed though

At 200% cooldown, it is still entirely viable. Did a platinum yesterday and I didn't notice a huge difference.

my love for the multiplayer was recently re-kindled with the discovery of the N7 slayer character. ho-ly crap that's a fun job! difficult though i die alot, mostly play infiltrator so not quite used to fighting at close quarters.

i'd like to try the n7 shadow job too.

I decided to promote all my kits this weekend, getting all back to 20 might encourage me to play more. Add me if you're playing on Origin, handle is pendulumb. Currently really enjoying the N7 Destroyer Soldier with Typhoon assault rifle, only new weapon i have currently, I think it would be boss with Adrenaline Rush.

is it just me or does the N7 slayer have zero defense? i'm dying a lot... like a LOT. even when i play conservative, one or two stray bullets seem to be enough to kill me. wasn't nearly this bad playing infiltrator or soldier.

Yeah, that is my main issue with the slayer. I die way to frequently. I am really terrible playing any of the squishy characters. Drell are totally off limits for me. Might as well not even be in multiplayer as far as I am concerned. WAY too soft.

I don't know if I can co-sign, I find Slayer to be perfectly viable - just make sure you have cover right after you do anything, and if you don't, charge then teleport out. Unless you have bad lag, teleport can save you from some pretty scary situations.

N7 Shadow, on the other hand, is truly made of glass. Teleport-decapitating enemies would be a lot cooler if they couldn't shoot me to death before I even got there.

i finally unlocked shadow and actually i'm finding my survivability much better. at least with that job i can use sniper rifles and attack from afar and cloak when things get dicey. i like both jobs though, lots of fun.

Task Force Aurora: I have uncovered documentation that points to the fact that scientist and infamous oddity hunter Dr. Garrett Bryson is running a SUPER SECRET TASK FORCE on the Reapers for the Alliance, and THEY ARE NOT TELLING US ABOUT IT! Why is it a secret? I hereby challenge the Alliance and Admiral Hackett to come clean and tell us WHAT EXACTLY THEY ARE INVESTIGATING WITH TASK FORCE AURORA!!!!

Apparently, people as high up as ADMIRAL HACKETT HIMSELF are involved! His involvement is a huge RED FLAG that Task Force Aurora involves something about the Reapers – probably SOMETHING THAT COULD SAVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!! The Alliance strongly DENIES the existence of Task Force Aurora, but I, with my years of experience, would expect nothing less.

I have tried to contact Admiral Hackett myself, but he won’t return my calls. WHY NOT?! Is it because he’s HIDING SOMETHING? I’m sure that he feels safe on his space station home as we all sit by and watch our friends and families get juiced by the Reapers, but I DON’T and NEITHER SHOULD YOU—we need to DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY. I encourage you to write or send a vid to Admiral Hackett and the Citadel Council demanding them to come clean and TELL US WHAT THEY KNOW!!!!!!
