Id like a post shepard game but i fear a canon ending would elicit fan rage.

The galaxy is a big place and there is plenty of room for a new enemy or political conflicts in a post Reaper/Shepard milky way.

Good idea: add another 3-round burst rifle to Multiplayer.

Bad idea: make the recoil profile so bizarre that your chances of actually getting all 3 rounds into a target are not that great.

i don't think that decision had anything to do with the ending actually. as i recall the announcement about this shepard's story ending was long before the game was finalized. the story goes that the ending of me3 was a fairly last minute change due to the original ending having been leaked. so my guess is that it was planned from the start that no matter what happens, shepard's story is over.

You're confusing two different things. Shepard-era is not the same as Shepard. Obviously Shepard's story is over, no one is really saying they want it to continue. Shepard-era refers to the time period in which Shepard lives.

Some kind of ground zero perspective of Earth before/during the Reaper attack would be cool. One of my only complaints of ME3 aside from ending.

I think a new game could be based around Jon Grissom. Codex mentions him leading the first mission through a relay and being a hero in the first contact war etc. And he is named after an Apollo astronaut like Shepard is.

ahh well then i'm not seeing the problem. plenty of shepard-era stories that could take place with no effect on the ending. i've always loved the STG, would love to see a story with them. i'd also love to see a story on earth, 'ground zero' story as moss mentioned. plenty to be done.

Text files and a plot summary for Mass Effect 3's forthcoming Omega DLC pack have been discovered (or so fans claim) in Mass Effect 3 itself. Perhaps the "D" should stand for "disc-based"? Stop reading now if spoilers make you a sad space panda.

The "downloadable" mission takes place aboard Omega Station, Mass Effect 2's foremost den of scum and villainy. Overlord Aria T'Loak has been ousted by the Illusive Man and Cerberus, and needs Shepard's help to retake the facility. Along the way, you'll meet and possibly kill Mass Effect 2's Zaeed Massani, who has signed up with Cerberus.

Complete the mission to unlock a supply of Element Zero for the war effort. Here's the plot summary with more specifics.

Aria tells you that Omega is now under a blockade from Cerberus. Since a direct attack didn't work, Cerberus is now trying to starve Omega into submission by blockading supply ships coming in through the regular Omega relay. The level's appearance will change to reflect this - the Afterlife has gone quiet, the music is off, the flashing lights are gone, maybe a soup kitchen has taken over the dance floor. Aria requests that you steal into the blockade and board the command ship. Take down the blockade so Omega can be resupplied.

As punishment for breaking the neutrality pact, Cerberus launches an attack against Omega. The enemy is attempting to destroy Omega's shields, which will allow asteroids and meteors to smash into the station. You must repel the assault and ensure the shield remain operational.

BioWare announced Omega alongside Mass Effect 4 and a new next gen IP last week. The studio also has Dragon Age 3 on the boil for late 2013.

When the fuck did this happen? I visit gaming sites/blogs daily and I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. Plus, I'm pretty sure an official ME4 announcement would have lit up the internet like the 4th of July.

PS3 users will now have access to Mass Effect 1, yesssssssssssssss.

Also Battlefield 3 soldier kit now available as a new Rare card, in multiplayer so ps3 users finally have access to the character.

ANNND multiplayer singularity will receive a buff in the next patch, since it can't be fixed through whatever they are using

We also think that Singularity is a lackluster power in many situations right now, but we have plans to address that in the future, and I think players will be very happy with the changes.


The change will make singularity a decent damage dealing power with the ability to set up biotic combos, even on shielded enemies.

Good thing I didn't open the copy of ME3 I got at Best Buy for 20 bucks a few weeks ago. Think i'll just return it and wait for the PS3 trilogy. Hope it gets a date soon.
