^ That's what sounds so lame. It was supposed to be a big deal in ME2 to get your entire team to survive the suicide mission and all. Even secondary characters like Kelly can be saved/lost depending on choices.

Still, if you look at it from the concept of a VS choice, there wasn't really a "win" option since someone ultimatly died. Maybe BW wants ME3 to really feel like a war and have people die left and right. /shrug

I'm not going to cop out on the series from this leak and I have decided to just stray from intentional spoilers. That being said, I want Shep/Liara little blue babies in my ending somewhere dammit!

If it were like, July and this shit had been leaked, I could see them doing a massive rewrite. But with a March release date and it being November? Nah, they're fucked. They've gotta be putting finishing touches on the game and wrapping up the voice work, there's no way they'd be able to re-write and re-record huge chunks of the story, not without a big budget increase and a time extension.

Gotta admit, lol'd. Figured a response from you would be safe enough, but yeah, I wouldn't see them doing a rewrite in any situation. Worded it poorly, but was more commenting on the fact that I could see people finding some sort of logic in thinking they'd do a rewrite at that point. Barking about complete revisions and script rewrites in November though, it's bonkers.

God, is that really what the people that write this stuff look like? Christ.

herp derp, it hasn't been mentioned (by myself, on an earlier page no less!) that BioWare confirmed the script was slightly dated, albeit mostly true. It being slightly dated is a point that's already well established.

You have very little choices, according to the script. People will die no matter what you do, and in a series that was about delivering a story while still giving you a nice bit of control over the details, that's really upsetting.

A- You can only save some, and lose some in return. Meaning, if you save person/planet X, you lose person/planet Y. I think that still provides choice while creating a sense of urgency. It also makes it so even if you gamefaqs the game, you still can't have the same game as basically 90% of those who finished it.

B- People die, and you have no choice in it whatsoever, bitch.

Mass Effect 3 PC requires initial internet check; no local co-op on all platforms

While an initial Online Pass Code is required to access Mass Effect 3's "Galaxy at War" content, the PC version will require an initial internet-based verification before you can get to Sheperding all across the galaxy, a Bioware interview with producer Jesse Houston reveals. Relax, though -- it's not going to require a continuous internet connection like some of Ubisoft's PC titles. It'll be just a one-time thing, which, now that we think about it, were probably Sovereign's exact words to Saren.

The other big chunk of news to come out of this Q&A is a lack of local co-op support at the game's launch. Houston doesn't rule it out as a future addition to the game and says "it is definitely on the table as something we might add." Finally, Houston explained that the new Kinect functionality demoed at E3 won't be included in the multiplayer, assumedly because it'd be the noisiest thing ever.

Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if it did. EA has really been pushing Origin as a "rival" of sorts to Blizzard's B.Net and Steam. Too bad Origin sucks complete donkey balls and doesn't compare at all. When your consumers start sandboxing your program to ensure it doesn't scan their computers, you know something is wrong.

You're talking like your decisions in ME1 didn't affect ME2, but they affected a lot of things in a large way. There were plenty of smaller choices that were w/e, but some big things were definitely carried over that affected many things.
