Kind of wish the challenges were actually challenging. If you can accomplish it solo or duo in a single wave, it shouldn't be... I love the multi of this game more than any other non-mmo and have since launch, but between the bugs, lackluster challenges and the knowledge that it will be shut down by EA less than a year after the last DLC pack I really don't know why I bother sometimes...

So if the Omega DLC ever goes on sale, could someone do me a solid and post about it here? Cause this is about the only place I ever get Mass Effect news from anymore.

I don't really bother with challenges anymore, I already got the Hurricane at VIII which is really the only weapon worth bothering with. All I play is PUG gold now which THANKFULLY PS3 players are actually able to do successfully 70% of the time now. I have all golds now so I drop in every now and then for fun while saving credits for the last DLC pack which is rumored for feb/march.

At work so I can't access the site to link it. But challenge for this weekend is to get a gold medal for any weapon, which is what, 75 kills?

Yep. Stupidly easy with any weapon-heavy class. Think you have to extract to get the medal award though - I went around wrecking shit with my Turian infiltrator on pickup silver, had 75 kills by wave 7 or so. Simple.

Same for me on a quick gold match. I've only been playing for one match a week lately and these challenges aren't motivating anything more.

Soloed a bronze run with my Turian Infiltrator, was done on wave 7 as well. It's sad, I only log in for events now.

Looks like new MP and SP DLC. Shepard and Wrex are clearly in the bottom pic. Krogan pic is probably MP related but what does a krogan with a hammer mean? Speculation says SP DLC is probably going to be related to be Citadel. DLC may also be released in February.

This weekend's challenge: Earn the "Killstreak 3" squad medal (as a squad, kill 5 enemies together 3 separate times).

Yup. Did a Firebase Rio run with Volus Engineer so I could see how many enemies were around me with the recon mine. Then rockets away!

no way in hell some challenge was stealing my rockets, did it with lift grenades on bronze / glacier waiting for enemies to bunch up at choke points.
