I can't understand that Wrex stat... did the majority of players polled just buy ME3 and not import?? O_o
It was hard to keep Wrex if you didn't have your paragon/renegade levels high in the first game. I would assume most people only played 2+3 though, which you may not know how cool he is to save him then.
The default decision if you started new in Mass Effect 2 (and didn't do the interactive comic to start) or 3 is that Wrex died on Virmire.
I find it a little difficult to believe that only 4% of players completed an Insanity run. It's not really *that* hard.
EDIT: Or is that 9%? I can't really tell with that font. Either way, it seems really low.
4%, you can see what a 9 looks like right under it.
3.8% Sociopath rate.
Finally got around to playing through again with all the DLC, extended cuts and all that jazz. The citadel DLC was hilarious and pretty fun, the extended endings were ok but the endings are still not good and the entire thing with the catalyst is stupid, even with the inclusion of the Levithan DLC. So you're telling me a super race watched other races create synthetics and have them turn on them...and then said "Hey lets create an AI to manage all this shit, nothing could go wrong!". I liked having the part where you say goodbye to your squad on the final run, and a few things they put in at the end but I still think they botched the whole ending thing but w/e, it's old hat now.
i haven't played me3 single or multiplayer since february, due to a big move. how's the game going? is multiplayer still going strong or is it starting to die out now that there will be no further development in the game?
I still play semi regularly, gold games easy to get, but I can't speak for the quality of player you find in those.
Stopped playing with any kind of frequency about two months ago. Platinum matches were hard to find, people didn't seem all that invested in matches, and the reward pace was still too staggeringly slow when trying to max out ultra rare guns.
I stopped last month completely. Let my Xbox Live Gold account expire since the only time I ever played online was to play this. Once they ended the weekly events I had no reason to log on anymore. I can't comment on how many people play, I'm sure it's still a very high number. But you get some real fucking retards in pick up groups.
well that's too bad i was looking forward to jumping right back into it in a few weeks when my computers finally get here. ah well, looking forward to the inevitable mmo.
finally got back into the game and got to play citadel. loved it, been a while since i've laughed that hard at a video game.
still play multiplayer pretty regularly but most of my friend list is mia. anyone still play, drop me a line. i'm sure i'll be at it for a while.
So I finally got the trilogy since it's cheaper now than what I sold back me3 for lol.
I sold it back within like a month of release. I had the prothean dlc already.
Any of the other pay dlc I really should get? Was thoroughly disappointed with prothean especially for being "pay 10 bucks for the mission we just blocked on the game you just bought even though it came with it and was a key part of the game."
God I wish my net didn't suck, going to take me years to download extended cut + all the multiplayer shit lol, let alone another dlc if I get any.
You really should get the last one. Citadel I think it was called. It was magnificent. I choose to look at that DLC as the real ending of the series. A slew of laugh out loud moments and closure with your characters. It was phenomenal. Lair of the Shadow Broker was also quite exceptional as far as I'm concerned. The rest were ok but not great or really worth the money imo.
Agreed on both accounts. Citadel is amazing and a must buy if you're only gonna get one though.
If you're really into the story, Arrival for 2 can also be worth it since it fills in some gaps between 2 & 3.
But only Citadel and Shadow Broker fall under the "essential" category.
mmm I'll prob check that (citadel) out then
also I'm playing ME1 for the first time now and I'm downright offended at how they thought it was OK to let us miss all this shit and hand us #2, especially with the rageworthiness of the default choices when you start at 2
one small example that's not even close to the bad shit but still frustrating as hell:
Spoiler: show
edit: oh I have all the me2 shit, just talking about 3
Agreed on the order, I actually think they're all worth playing through. Omega is a fun play, with some Aria backstory...Leviathan is good with some cool Reaper background...and Citadel is amazing.
