So... the cap on the multi is lvl 20. 3 more weeks to detox before I fall off the wagon I guess...
I tried to pre-order a CE for PC at my local Lame Stop and the employee there was a dick about it and told me that I waited the last second and I should have pre-ordered much earlier and that there is no way I was going to find it now. Was basically goading me into trying to get the standard, I told him to pretty much fuck off and looked online and found out that best buy was still taking orders. I have it set for site to store delivery. TL;DR FUCK game stop lol.
Ahhh Gamestop, you never cease to amaze me.
When I worked there (ages ago) the District Manager told us to never sell the release day game to people if they didn't preorder, even if we had little or no preorders for a certain game. The GM and I (I was ASM) said fuck that and sold them to our regulars. We got chewed out a few times, but it was such a bullshit rule to begin with. Granted in 2002 there weren't as many options as there are now, but still a few stores within walking distance. I never really got that. I understand they want to get people to preorder, but when a store like Best Buy has 100+ unreserved copies (mix between CE and Standard) why even bother refuse to sell? Oh well, not my money. I never buy anything from Gamestop anymore. Honestly can't remember the last game I bought from them.
Me either and i'm glad I don't have to even bother shopping there again. Makes me sad to think back to the days of the former/real ebgames and Funcoland when I use to love going in there, never ever imagined I would grow up to dread it.
Replaying 1-2 on Insanity/asshole Shephard in the meantime to prepare, some very lol moments.
got to play as obama shep
bb still had ce for all 3 versions as of wednesday when I signed up.. Supposedly the only place with 360 and boxed pc left, lots of ps3 still out there
It tickles my balls knowing Ive had the same character for 2 games now, and Ill be basically completing a saga.

Great deal here. ME1 &2 digital DL for $4.99 each. Can't beat that shit.
Multiplayer demo is awesome, solid level of difficulty too, you get complacent or someone drops out and you are in trouble. Miranda is definitely one of the better squadmates in 2 because of her squad damage bonus and the fact she has both warp and overload. In other news, shockwave doesn't suck anymore, tactical cloak is insane as long as you're not carrying too many weapons (affects cooldowns), and warp is still awesome.
I would recommend getting Shadow Broker at the very least, shit was cash. Arrival was okay, didn't much story wise, but is supposed to be a bit of a bridge between part 2 and 3. Also Lance Henriksen is featured in it. Can't go wrong. Overlord was... different. The overall story was very good, just kind of felt repetitive. If you're saving the money on the game, you should check out some of the DLC.
Definitely am but just want to know which are very worthwhile and my buddy tells me Arrival wasn't too great.. but I guess I will be reading up.
I hope they expand the store in the full game so you can buy the multiplayer charecters you want rather than hope to get them by chance could probably do the same with weapons
oh and Respecs of course
I hope the opposite. I hate the F2P business model. If anything, I would hope you could export your single player character to multi. If you are talking about getting credits in multi to pay for it, that kind of takes away half of the gameplay (earning what you are playing combined with /random luck).
I agree completely. I love knowing that the things I did in ME1 still resonate down through ME3 even if it's just a minor point of conversation etc.It tickles my balls knowing Ive had the same character for 2 games now, and Ill be basically completing a saga.
I played the PS3 version of ME2 first, which had a bunch of DLC including the shadow broker. Then, I played on PC with the Cerberus pack of DLC. They have different additional characters and missions. The PC cerberus pack added a character that I don't think is included or relevant in ME3, The PS3 DLC added a JP THF that is supposedly a team-able character in ME3.
The Shadow Broker DLC is nothing but story. It caps the story of why the Asari team member from ME1 wouldn't join you in ME2 when you see them. It is entirely skip able.
On PC, all DLC packs for ME2 are insanely confusing. You have to dig for them on a bioware website and they all have obscure titles with misleading descriptions. ME3 exclusively on origin for PC will hopefully make the DLC packs easy to decipher.
if you can move yourself ahead of Anderson in the ME demo, it will force him to run & he'll auto-pilot you the next scene trigger
