Maxed out Phalanx with the Accuracy/Scope mod tears through shields and then I hit them with a Throw to kill them. If they're behind cover I can curve a Warp or Throw round and drop almost all of their shield too and set them up for a Biotic Combo (Stasis does the same but it's really finicky for hitting stuff behind cover since you can't curve it). Idk why you'd use a Sniper on Adept, your powers are your bread and butter and you're taking a big hit on the cooldown if you want to use a good rifle. Maxed out Phalanx weighs absolutely nothing and has great damage and accuracy.

Edit: Though I can understand wanting to lower the cooldown on Stasis if you do rock a heavy weapon. Different playstyles I guess, but with +200% reduction it's unnecessary.

Finally finished a round on Gold at Firebase White

Asari adept is pretty much required for all of the phantoms. Also had a turian sentinel and krogan soldier. I was on my krogan soldier. I'd really like to use some other weapons but the only shotguns I have are shitty and my Phalanx IX is pretty beast with the scope and extra ammo.

I actually don't use fortification at all. 15% damage reduction seems pretty trivial to me and hurting cooldowns sucks too. Hopefully I won't have any more urges to play this now...

I tried once this morning, worked. But, half the team including the host dropped with 15 seconds left on wave 11 of a silver...

kk done with it until launch now, going adept in me3 story and praying they get stasis as a base ability (I hadn't played for days and was still rocking close to 70k points with the next closest barely in the 30's on that silver run as asari adept).

Stasis isn`t base, but it might be a bonus power. Speaking of Bonus I definitely know Barrier is one.

And speaking of stasis bomb I`m pretty sure it will work with Throw. I just use warp because I upgraded it`s Biotic Explosion damage.

So I tried out Salarian Infiltrator tonight and God damn it owns. Proximity Mine is infinite (cooldown like normal powers, not like grenades) and does 880 damage right now. Energy Drain is aoe, instantly hits in a straight line and stuns the target as well as drains all their shields and gives it to me. Cooldown is really low so I just hit damn near everything with it, tons of assists if I don't just pop their head myself right afterwards. Definitely far more fun than human, but I really want the Salarian Engineer rather than Infiltrator. Hopefully I can get that in retail to dick around with, Human Engi is meh.

Whaaaat? Human Eng. Can handle ALL types of defense with overload and incinerate. Drone is great for crowd control, Upgrade the drone to explode upon 'death' does more damage than it`s shock, also can upgrade it`s lightning to effect two other targets(Chain Lightning). Overload is good on organics even if unshielded by shocking the target. If you can evolve the ability`s radius so multiple targets are staggered, or defense stripped. Can take on Phantoms no problem. Incinerate is great for stopping pursuers and leaving them open for attack when panicked. Human Eng. is great.

I won't refute it has decent tools for every enemy type, just seems pretty weak overall to me (though it's one I haven't leveled too much, it's only level 11 right now) and not much fun. I thought the Combat Drone was ass but I took different upgrades to you, never saw it die much (if at all) so I didn't get the self destruct one. I got Damage/Shields +40%, Short-Range Shock and then Missiles for long distance attack. The rockets are the only thing I really have much faith in. I'll grab self-destruct in retail and try it I guess. I haven't upgraded Incinerate much yet, what upgrades did you get? Full damage and then Armor Damage for the final? And I guess you just use a Heavy Pistol for power spam or do you rock a heavy weapon too? I actually just unlocked Quarian Engineer too, I think I prefer Humans powers though so dunno whether to mess with it (not to mention I just straight up hate Quarians). I guess Cryo > Incinerate with the Freeze upgrade for Incinerate would be okay though, but Sentry Turret looks worse than the Drone to me.

I've only put a couple of points in proxy and rarely use so i will have to give it a go. I'm always using energy drain from cloak quickly followed by a shot from widow is really good for forcing shielded targets out of cover/repairing atlas.
